great upgrade for the price
purchased two of these for less than a pair of sneakers. upgraded my pre-owned hp z840 cad workstation from dual e5-2637 v3 (with 16 total cpus) to these dual e5-2698 v3 (with 64 total cpus), 128g ram. it does give it much more juice; power output is very noticeable, and both CPUs really heat up while using a combination of the linux sensor utilities; they go from idle 42C to +65C in a couple of seconds.

I ordered a E5-2698v3 and that’s what I got. Put it into my Asus X99-A motherboard with ECC ram and it fired up after a CMOS reset

Arrived very fast. Well packaged. Only grip I have is that there is gunk on the contacts for the CPU.
