Hyperkin "Scout" Premium Controller for Super NES (Hyper Beach) Funtoon Collector's Edition - Super NES

I got one of these Hyperkin Snes controllers to replace my old Super Nintendo ones that were having trouble with the start and select buttons. This new controller here overall feels pretty darn decent. It's definitely different than the original Nintendo hardware. But at least everything is quite functional and in the right place.It even adds some little improvements as well. Like a slightly larger back for extra grip. The most important part, is that the d-pad works really good. That's always the weakest link in so many controllers. The action buttons all have the right feel and the shoulder buttons are nice as well. With more than enough length for me on the controller cable.It's the total right price and an excellent controller to get you back in the Super Nintendo groove.

Good quality SNES controller, have it plugged into an USB adapter for PC. Works great for SNES and Gameboy Advance games. Very responsive controls

The media could not be loaded. It is decent. The buttons while not true clicky buttons have thr simulated feel. Works fine with my original snes. It is a bit bulky to fit in your had a bit better which I am ok with. The original snes controller feels too small in my hands. I would have given a 5 stars if not for a issue with the dpad. The dpad contact membranes used in the controller are not the best. When attempting to hold down to duck in games like the mario bros if you are even slightly to one side or the other and not perfectly in the middle of down it will register that you are moving forward or backward causing your character to move. I'm hoping it will go away after breaking in the contact membranes but beware if you are looking for something to possibly compete with. If the issue goes away in the future and I remember to I will update this post.

I got this to replace my original SNES controller. The D-pad and buttons were surprisingly responsive. No accidental double bounce of the buttons, or failure to return to center of the D-pad. Everything just works well. Pleasantly surprised. I would recommend this product.

Has a very premium feel compared to cheaper replacement controllers, very comparable to the original SNES controller and works great with my original SNES.

I didn't actually use it on. SNES, and instead used it with a "Pico NES". A Raspberry Pi Pico powered NES emulation console. This controller worked great with it!
