Pitaka has been my main go-to when it comes to my Apple products. I have purchased my phone cases from them ever since the iPhone 12. The way they create the lightest and thinnest products amazes me. I now have used their Airpod case, watch protective shell (also shown in my pictures), car magnetic phone holders, and their newest Magsafe desktop and portable charger. I love the carbon fiber look of all the products and their new lines of different designs have elevated the product look. They offer a black carbon fiber look of this band but the one I purchased is a special edition Dreamland design. It reminds me of an 8-bit video game pixel look. It is a great alternate design for my outfit of the day. The special edition also came with this cool Rubik's cube that also gives me that nostalgic feeling of the 8-bit gaming era. The packaging is deluxe and everything came in, the instructions were clear to me on how to resize the band to fit my wrist, and it also came with extra parts in case the locking mechanism on the band wears out or you want to add a link if it comes to small. I was able to remove two links with ease and the product looks and feels great. It is lightweight and the magnetic clasp helps when putting the band on and when it locks in place it does not feel like it will come unclasped with use. The only hope I would have for the company in their future of Apple bands is if they would make a reversible watch band. As you can see from the pictures, the underside of the band is black carbon fiber, I thought at first when I opened the product that it was going to be reversible due to that fact. However, the way the hinges work it wouldn't be possible. I am not sure if it can be possible to make it reversible in that way but I can hope!

Received 9/15. One of the bands was loose in the Amazon package, which kinda spoiled the surprise of opening it. The manufacturing package is held together by a cardboard lid and magnets which must have creased open and fell out in transit. I was surprised by the color at first, the blue is much more vibrant in pictures. It may do better in direct lighting though. It’s hard to see the color gradient in low light, it’s very subtle. The white band definitely stands out. The directions were minimal on how to adjust the length. Almost lost a couple links when it springs open. I think this is a common problem for this style watch band. Annoying, but you only have to do it once. It looks nice and wears nice. The magnet clasp has a lock on it and snaps around the wrist nicely. Very light but looks and feels incredibly durable. It beats many Apple Watch bands for looks and style at the same price point. The darker colors better match the black Ultra 2. The price is my only concern. It doesn’t quite look like a $100 band. $70 would be better, 50 if other companies were making similar products. This is the only company making this style and material that I could find. Will I get complements on it? It doesn’t stand out as much as I hoped. But as an everyday wear that is classy, a bit design forward without over doing it, it’s perfect.

Love the band but one side of the band was defective, the magnet/clip was defective and separated. Basically when I tried to slide the band into my Apple Watch ultra it wouldnt go in, I didnt force it but I could see the problem. The top part of the band the plastic piece above the bottom of the band where the silver I guess magnet is. When sliding into the band the top is like a spring then presses down as it slides into the band but since the piece was slight separated it wouldnt go in. The other part of the band was fine. I LOVE the feel and style of the band and will reconsider my rating once I get the replacement, Yes I love it so much Im willing to try a replacement and hope it doesnt have the same issue which I doubt. I know these things happen in production. But WOW the band is awesome, it goes great with my Pataka Carbon fiber Apple Watch ultra bumper case. Im fairly sure this is hopefully a one off but do hope it holds up over time. Since I dont change my bands often (rarely) I wont be taking it off and on so if you do you do need to be careful with sliding this band into the watch band slider just be careful and you should be fine. I had my band replaced for the defective one side and now its perfect. I love love the band, as I said I just got unlucky with a band connection point on the slider but now its perfect and looks great.

I have purchased this PITAKA Apple Watch Band for my 41mm Apple Watch Series 8 in April of 2023. So it's been 1.5 Years since I am using this and all I can say till date is how amazing this band is. Before purchasing this band, i did try a few other bands but where this PITAKA shines are in the following areas: 1. Super light weight - way better than many other bands out there 2. Genuine Carbon Fiber 3. Locking mechanism is perfect - It's magnetic and literally takes 1 sec to wear the watch. The magnetic power is exactly the same as it was on day 1. I have never experienced my watch falling off during workouts, especially during running. It's very easy to clean and very light scratches over the last 1.5 years of use. but still looks great. Many people asked me about the band as it looks perfectly stylish. I wish Pitaka makes these bands in colors to match apple watch colors so I can pair it with my next upgrade. Thanks

I wish I could like this product, but I've experienced nothing but issues with this watch band. From the beginning, it was difficult to adjust the links to find a proper fit. Once I had it tight enough to prevent it from moving around my arm, the latch became difficult to secure properly. I frequently struggled to get it to click into place. On several occasions, regular hand and arm movements would cause the latch to unexpectedly open, resulting in the watch falling off and hitting the ground. The final disappointment came when two separate links broke while I was simply wearing it.

I will say first off I am a huge fan of anything carbon fiber so I was immediately drawn to this watch band. I normally wear a Nike sport watch band with my Apple Watch Ultra. I wanted something a little more classy for formal / business wear. First thing is just how lightweight this thing is... just wow.. Feels incredibly light in hand and on the arm. I have been wearing it for a few days now full time and have hit it on things, sat my arm down on rough surfaces, and just normal day to day activities and it has zero scratches on it. When you get this band resizing is very simple. It comes with a SIM like removal tool for pushing in the pins and includes extra links in the box to expand the band for a larger wrist. Putting the watch and removing it is very simple with the magnetic closure. The magnets are very strong and it "snaps" together when the ends get close. So far I really only have a couple of complaints. It is re-sizable, however, other watches I have one of the links near the closing link has numerous holes to give you more adjustability. This band does not so if you are sort of in-between too tight or too loose there isn't anything I can figure out to do about it. The watch for me sits a touch looser than I like, but I have gotten used to it. My only other complaint is not a knock against this band truely its just any solid band where sweat collects under for me when I get warm. Again, this is any watch band like this, but wanted to call it out that this band doesn't do anything special with being so light to cut down on the sweat. Pros: - Incredibly lightweight - CF looks incredible - Magnetic closure makes it really easy to take on and off - Comes with everything to resize the band (pin removal and extra links) Cons: - Adjustment is excellent, but could include a link that has multiple pin holes near closure to allow more adjustability. - I wish the magnetic closure didn't open fully and it was more like a traditional high end band that just opens up to get it off your wrist, but doesn't just allow a watch to fall in the floor. It hasn't happened where the watch came off, but it would give me a piece of mind. I knew how it functioned before purchasing so I hesitated putting this as a con. Overall - this is one of the nicest bands I have put on my apple watch ultra. It looks incredibly on the wrist, catches light at random moments and have even have had a couple of people ask me about it.

I was pleasantly surprised how light weight this was as I thought it was going to be a heavy metal. Easily attaches with the help of the magnets built into the band and one hand allows to push in buttons with two fingers to disengage and remove from wrist. Make sure if you are altering the links you place back in the right direction. I made the mistake of placing back incorrectly and it made placing watch band on and off very difficult. It takes a little patience to change out the links. There is a spring that you push in with included tool and you dismount one side at a time. My wrist has a circumference of 7 inches and I had to take a link off from each side of the watch band to fit correctly. It also comes with two extra spare links and springs if you need to make even longer. Comfortable to wear, amazing look and really brings an executive look and feel to this watch. This band has gained a seat at my daily job and weekend events. Might seem pricey but quality is never cheap.

I've had this band for about 15 months now. While I like the look and feel, it's durability is just not great. Twice, one of the links "connector" has broken. They do supply extras but they are not easy to replace. The magnetic clasp also has variable dependability. Spending a lot of time in water like lakes and rivers, I am surprised I haven't lost my watch yet when these components have failed. The mosaic design has also faded quite a bit, something I did not realize until I started having to replace links. I am finally giving up on this band after just over a year of use.
