For my wife's mother who was in hospice
When my wife's mother went into hospice at age 97, she had trouble holding silverware and putting food inter her mouth. She was very independent and did not like having to be fed. So, I purchased this set which allowed us to adjust the angle of the spoon and fork so she could find her mouth easier. Also the larger handles made it easier for her to grip. This made it a lot easier for her to feed herself and that made her happy. When my wife's mother passed away, we donated this utensil set to the hospice so they could use it with other patients. This was a very good purchase for us and I hear that the hospice is very happy with the set also as it is being used with other patients who have coordination problems while eating.

Works well
Large handle fits well. Great that they are bendable.

The spoons are just right.
A little uncomfortable about this decision. My 98 yr old Mother has started to have trouble with dexterity. The spoons are very helpful , and it's nice to have 2 sizes. She doesn't like the forks (too "pointy"?) so I put big foam tubes on our forks, instead. She never uses the knife. The set was only slightly more expensive than purchasing 2 spoons separately, but that would have been a good decision in our case. Or, big foam tubes on our spoons?

awesome!
These are awesome! Weighted well and the fact that we can adjust the angle to whatever her needs are is perfect. She can feed herself!

Arthritis approved
My dad had to spend a week in a rehabilitation facility after an accident. While he was re-learning how to eat without a feeding tube, they gave him these exact utensils because he couldn’t close his fingers all the way. He liked them a lot, so I purchased these so when he was ready to go home he could keep eating with ease. I was happy I found the exact same ones he used in the facility! He’s still using them to this day and I’m happy we found one small thing to make his day easier on him.

Eating after a stroke
My husband had a stroke and these utensils have made it possible for him to start eating by himself. Perfect for us to be able to bend them to the angle he needs to get the food to his mouth. Now working on cutting his food.
