Will this set off a smoke detector? Venues I work with allow for dry ice machines but not typical fog machines.

It has not set off my alarms, but I do not know about all.

Yes, but run through ice to help low lying effect

Is this for inside or outside use? Does is state on the box or in the instructions?

Inside you will get more spread and hang time will be longer. It will work okay outside granted there is no wind, but hang time will be short.
