Light weight, heavy protection
I bought this one for the 12.9 because I have it for the iPad mini and it has been a life saver. It is extremely light weight. My kids have dropped it a few times with no breakage. Iike the stand in the back swivels and it had a strap for your hand so you can walk and write at the same time. It does not care me with a screen protector, but that was okay for me because I use the paper-like screens. I was so super easy to install it. It is a great fit.

Meets and exceeds expectations and worth the minimal price!
The case is exactly as I expected. It is easy to get the iPad in and out. The case feel secure with the iPad in it. The materials are simple. The strap on the back allows for a good amount of adjustability. My hand feels solid in it and it holds well enough to allow me to walk with the iPad in my hand. The stand is very functional and easy to put up and down. With all that said, it is still a very basic case with basic materials. It is a very solid 4 even 4.5 stars but not the quality of a 5 star product. I will be using it in my business, so I hope to come back and give an update after a few months of using it. It was bought 1/2025.

Useful and durable.
I am thrilled to give the Miesherk Case for iPad Pro 12.9 Case 2022/2021 a rousing five-star rating. This fantastic cover provides a comprehensive package of protection, convenience, and versatility, making it an excellent choice for protecting and extending the functioning of my iPad Pro 12.9 inch 6th/5th Generation. The Miesherk Case is distinguished by its military-grade heavy-duty shockproof construction. The casing offers superior defense against accidental drops, collisions, and potential risks. This sturdy build gives me piece of mind, knowing that my costly iPad Pro is safe from the hazards of everyday use. The inclusion of a pencil holder is a well-thought-out innovation that improves the case's functionality. My Apple Pencil is always within reach and safely stowed with the pencil holder. This eliminates the need for different storage solutions and guarantees that I always have access to my pencil, whether for note-taking, drawing, or creative projects. When it comes to establishing optimal viewing angles, the rotating stand is a game changer. Whether I'm working, watching content, or taking video chats, the rotating stand allows me to position my iPad Pro at the optimal angle. This versatility improves both my productivity and the user experience. The hand/shoulder strap is an eye-catching element that improves portability and usability. The adjustable strap gives a comfortable and solid hold, allowing me to confidently carry my iPad Pro on the go. The strap makes it easy to utilize the device in a variety of situations, whether I'm standing or moving around. The case's painstaking design guarantees that all of the iPad Pro's ports, buttons, and features remain accessible and functional. This is critical for ensuring that the gadget can be used without interruption. The case's sleek black design adds a touch of sophistication to my iPad Pro, and the superb craftsmanship shines through in every aspect. The case blends in with the iPad's design, keeping its visual appeal while providing superior protection. While the Miesherk Case provides excellent protection and a variety of useful functions, it does add some bulk and weight to the iPad Pro. This is a trade-off for the increased protection and functionality, and those who like a compact and lightweight profile may find the case significantly heavier than intended. Finally, the Miesherk Case for iPad Pro 12.9 Case 2022/2021 is an exceptional accessory that combines military-grade protection with ease of use and versatility. Every part of this case is meant to improve the user experience, from the pencil holder to the rotating stand and the hand/shoulder strap. My iPad Pro is well-protected with the Miesherk Case, and it gains new capabilities for a variety of activities. This case embodies quality, innovation, and usefulness, making it an indispensable companion for anybody looking to get the most out of their iPad Pro.

Sturdy
Excellent! Easy to assemble. Thick enough to offer excellent protection, but not bulky. The stand in the back is sturdy, as long as it’s clicked into place. The pen holder is very good, though I wish there was a second way to hold it for the times it does not need charging.

Hard to swipe up or down on
I had to buy a new iPad since my first gen pro finally kicked the bucket, so I got the latest one available, the 6th Gen Pro. I do NOT like the lack of a home button; the swipe up to exit is extremely annoying, and that is also the source of my dislike for this case. This is the second case I’ve tried; the first one I thought maybe I’d go less bulky so I got one of those light flappy kind of cases that have a folding screen cover that’s supposed to prop the iPad up (it was terrible) but it hurt my hand trying to hold it in portrait orientation because the iPad is so heavy, so I thought I’d try one with a handle, and here we are. The problem is the edge of the colored plastic is so close to the edge of the touch sensitive area that it’s hard to swipe up on unless I have the iPad turned with the camera down at the bottom, because there is an open space there for the camera. This only intensifies my hate for the swipe up function, so I removed a star for that. Should have left a notch for people’s finger to swipe up through. I also have to say I don’t know that I trust the clips holding the case together overmuch. The silicon edges do seem like they’d give good cushioning in the case of a drop, but whether the case would actually stay together on impact? I think it’s doubtful. I haven’t tested that theory, nor do I intend to, so I just took one star off “sturdiness”. They’ve got some nerve calling this “military grade” sturdy. Those clips have come apart with just normal handling and I sometimes don’t notice until I find myself unable to use the volume button because they’re no longer aligned with the pressers inside the silicon corner, or I hear the plastic rattling slighting (it’s that hard, brittle sounding kind of plastic). Anyways, I’m not very happy with it, aside from occasionally finding the handle on the back useful. I bought another of the leather folder kind that I had on my old iPad as well, so I will probably switch to that and see how it goes.

My most used case for my iPad Pro 12.9 in M1
When I got my iPad Pro 12.9in M1 in July, I could not decide which type of case I would like. I knew that I wanted one with a keyboard and I wanted one that I could easily hold and rotate into portrait mode. A keyboard and portrait mode rotation case could not be found (and in looking I still don't see one that fits that exactly). So, I got this case - along with the Apple case that was made for this (a $350 cost) and another case that has a backlight keyboard and securely holds the apple pencil (a $99.00 case). It took all of 2 days before I took the Apple case back. It just was not working for me as I rotate my iPad a great deal and I did not feel like it would safely hold my pencil in place, I didn't like that there was no backlight for the keys, and - most importantly - I did not feel that it would keep the iPad safe from possible damage. The other one that I got for $99 it did the trick for what I need when I need a keyboard, and it does rotate and it can lay on top of the keyboard... BUT... It then does not stand up or have a stand so it can be stood up in the portrait aspect. So, when I need a keyboard I use that.... BUT, since I have had this iPad (again, since July) I have used that case probably 7 times. This Miesherk iPad Pro 12.9 Case - THIS IS MY DAILY CASE! This case is no more heavy than the others with the keyboard (imo) but it has protected my pencil several times from falling away when I have accidentally dropped the iPad (on carpet). It has also protected the iPad from those falls completely. While I do wish that it had a keyboard - it is not a big issue. If I want to go through pulling the thing apart (which I don't) I could easily swap it into my other case. But, instead I solved the issue by setting up my Logitech MX Keyboard and now I can just press F14 and use that keyboard for whatever notes or other things I may be doing on my iPad and then press F13 to go back to utilizing my Mac Mini M1. Problem solved.... well, as long as I do not go on a trip or go out someplace and need to use my keyboard with my iPad. If that hinds up being needed - then I will just swap out the iPad for that case. Until then.... THIS Miesherk iPad Pro 12.9 Case is going to remain right where it is currently (enveloping my iPad and keeping it safe). Would I recommend buying this case?? ABSOLUTELY!!!! I would pick this case over ever buying the OtterBox case for this iPad any day! Is it worth the Price Point!? YES! Is it able to be put into a protective sleeve if traveling? Depends. If you buy a laptop sleeve (which I do have one) that fits at least a 14 to 15 inch laptop - then, yes. A 13 inch laptop sleeve will not work for this. Reason: it needs to have room to accommodate the bulkiness of the case to include the strap on the back that you slide your hand through. I have used my laptop sleeve in this way when going on a trip and it provided me that extra peace of mind that my screen would be better protected from scratching while in my backpack - which does have a protected area for the tablet but even with that... I felt way more comfortable that the iPad was in this protected case and had extra protection from the laptop sleeve too. Does the raised edging around the camera provide an issue w/ reflection? Not that I have noticed. I do actually use the camera on the iPad. Not for portrait pics or regular picture taking - for that I will use my Canon; but, I do use the camera on the iPad when I need to take pics of docs that I may be attaching into my Notes app or other things that have a need for large space coverage. I have not found any issues w/ reflection on those due to the raised edging from this case. How about the straps that can be attached?? I have no clue on if those are great added value to the overall of this case. Reason: I do not use the strap or need the strap and so I do not have it attached. Bonus tip - I have used this case for my iPad when I have been laying in bed. I do that often - and, it does a great job at keeping it balanced on my bed (and on my extra pillow) when I am laying in bed on my side and trying to watch a boring show that will put me to sleep. Final words - GET THIS CASE! You will find that it will be absolutely worth it one way or another.
