Dynasty Hardware Augusta Commercial Duty Classroom Function Keyed Door Lever Deadlocking latch bolt operated by lever from either side except when outside lever is locked from outside by key. When outside lever is locked, latch bolt is operated by turning inside lever. Inside Lever always free for immediate egress This Dynasty Hardware commercial heavy duty ANSI Grade 2 certified cylindrical Key-In style Lever handle classroom lockset is ADA approved for barrier free access on all commercial and residential exterior doors. This keyed door lock can be used for either right or left handed applications. The 5-Inch handles work independently of each other. The exterior handle is removable for ease of rekeying. Uses a Schlage SC1 Keyway. The 6 pin solid brass SC1 keyway is keyed to 5 pins. The 2-3/4-Inch backset latch meets the UL 3 Hour Fire Rating. This lockset is made to fit doors between 1-3/8-Inch and 1-3/4-Inch. This Dynasty Commercial door lever comes with a 10 year manufacturers warranty. Review: The instructions recommended through bolts, but I did not use them as it's a low use lock. You can get a good squeeze on a steel door without them. The screws have serrations in them to prevent them from backing out, so if you detect grinding, it's probably just doing its job. Follow the instructions exactly, particulary on mounting the lock key lever. If you try to wing it, the lock won't work right. Rotate the lock clockwise 90 deg with one hand and insert the lever with the key with your other hand. Took me a couple times. The levers have some play in them, so not super high quality. It's a value lock at a value price. It won't beat the true pro brands in fit and finish, however. Review: Exactly as described. Super easy to install. A monkey could do it. Seems stronger than residential hardware.
