will this hold a Galaxy z fold 3 in the closed/folded position due to its thickness (approx .75 inches)?

Our product can be used for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3, but it needs to be opened. If it is folded, it may not be able to fix your phone well.

Will this work with the spigen slim armor pro case for the fold 3, im afraid the hinge protector would get in the way

I have that exact set up and it works well opened and folded...the hinge protector rests perfectly in the cradle of the charger when folded...open it works landscape and portrait however when in portrait position it will not wirelessly charge...however in landscape position the volume and unlock button are not accessible, doesn't bother me cause I have my phone set to not lock when charging and forced blackout mode for apps (developer options)...I love it and I'm sure you will too...best of luck...

I can't seem to get it to quick charge i've used a wire that comes with it i've used 20 watt charger from walmart i've also used to house charger that

It may be that your phone is not amenable to the system. I have a Samsung Fold 2 and it won't quick charge either. However, thinner phones have worked fine. My workaround is to plug in both the charger and phone separately, since the charger won't close on the phone to hold it tight unless it is plugged in, whether or not you are trying to use it as a charger. Since it is the only charger that fits the Fold, I think we're stuck.
