Nicely Detailed Addtion to the Lego Architecture Series
The LEGO Buckingham Palace is another great addition to the LEGO Architecture Series. With 780 pieces in the set, this isn't the Lego set that you can expect to finish within an hour - this is a very detailed set that is simple to build, but takes a significant amount of time and patience. For patient builders, the end result is a really awesome model of London's Buckingham Palace - our family completed this set in three days with each family member working on small sections in little blocks of time throughout the day. Time to complete will vary depending on individual. Like all Lego sets, the pieces fit very snugly together, the instructions are illustrated simply but effectively, and we didn't have any issues with missing blocks. The instructions also included information about the design, architecture and history of Buckingham Palace which was a nice bonus. This was a particularly nice set to put out for display - it was so nice, I ended up purchasing another for my brother who is a fan of both Lego Architecture and Buckingham Palace. This is definitely a great set to add to any Lego Architecture fan's collection.

Another fine kit in the Lego Architecture series!
Ahhh, another wonderful kit in the Lego Architecture series. During my first trip to London, a had a few hours to kill before I could check in to my hotel. So, I just started walking. After about ten minutes, I found myself standing in front of a large building with a large open space. It took me a few minutes to realize that I was standing in front of Buckingham Palace! Thank you Lego Architecture! Even though this kit is just the very front of the palace, it is what it is. Again, no detail was left out. Like all Lego kits, the instructions were very easy to follow. The Architecture instructions are also a very informative booklet with all of the history of the building and lots of great pictures. The kit itself was pretty straight forward and easy to build. But, because of the level of detail, it took about 15 hours to complete. The finished kit now sits next to the Lego Louvre...with pride!

Once they're assembled... They are amazing!!!
My daughter is now in her 40's & LOVES LEGOS!!! She thinks they're easy to assemble. Me? I don't have the patience for it. I also think they are really pricey! But they actually do look amazing when done! They have easy instructions but that doesn't mean they are quick! Some of these have well over a thousand pieces! But I always look forward to seeing them when she's done! They come apart easily & most people reassemble them over & over. She gets them from places she's been such as Buckingham Palace, the Eiffel Tower, The London Eye and ALL the Harry Potter series! Would I recommend LEGOS? You betcha!!!

A Lego set fit for Royalty!
I have been a Lego fan ever since I can remember, even years later, I still find a set I like from time to time, and this is one of them. The Lego Architecture theme has gotten attention as appealing to old and young alike, a reputation it well deserves. This set was a fun little build, and I am most assuredly going to find a good place on my shelf to put this, and keep it clean and impeccably well dusted. I have some books about the British Royal Family already, and I have lots of other curious and fascinating things on the shelves too, so finding a place to display this will be as easy as finding a pigeon in London. I love this set, it appeals to me as someone who is a fan of the British Royal Family { despite me being from the United States} and it appeals to me as a Lego fan, and being so excited about a Lego set makes me feel like a kid again, or like slipping into an old comfy sweater: so forgive me for the slightly excited and over-enthusiastic tone of this review.

Great set, nice size!
I bought this for my son as a Christmas gift. He is 10 and has built maybe 50 Lego sets and was looking for more of a challenge. This was perfect for him! He built it in just a couple of hours and really enjoyed it. It's actually a very nice size once it's built and won't take up too much space on his Lego shelves. The price is just right, affordable! There are so many Lego sets that he'd love to have but they can get so expensive...I can buy him several of these type of sets for the price of one bigger one, and he has a little variety. Overall, I'd definitely buy this again, very happy!

Review for buckingham palace
The lego buckingham palace was really fun and intresting lego set to build. The lego set was very creative. There was no missing pieces at all and only extra pieces just incase. The lego was really big and the instructions booklet even has the history of the buckinham palace. Something that really stands out is the fountain. Some intresting details that stand out was the telephone both and the car. I really thing the person on the statue stands out. The lego set took 2 hours to build and easy.

Fun!
Purchased for my 17 year old who loves legos. Fun to put together. But some pieces didn’t fit snugly. (Hence 4 stars vs 5 stars.) Expensive, but so are all the good lego sets.

Fantastic detail.
I purchased a few of these in the series for my husband based on our travels and where we've lived. The detail and engineering is amazing. It is billed at 12 years and older, but my 5 year old daughter was able to follow along on the the last 15-20 steps and complete on her own with some supervision. The detail is fantastic and these are worthy enough of being displayed in our playroom/gameroom. Each LEGO set comes with a detailed book with step by step visual pictograms that walk you through assembly. The only downfall (or not) is that the pieces all come in multiple bags that are in no way categorized, which can be misleading. You end up needing to open up ALL the bags and then divide and categorize however works best for you. Take about 1-2 hours to complete.
