I took a chance since this item had no reviews when I bought it, and man am I glad I did. With all the similar cases not being able to charge the pencil, I am happy to report that it works! If you want a plain case that can charge your pencil, get this one! I will post a picture as proof after they publish this review, if I try to add a photo now the page crashes. Amazon seems to hate chrome...or one of my extensions.

Tried several covers. The last one, made by a well known company, was excellent but way too heavy, with the total weight almost double that of the iPad and it became very hard to hold it.This case is super light, it completely covers the back, protecting it from scratches, and also have ridges at the front so even if placed on a surface with the screen down, it would not touch the surface. Finally, it has a nice, slightly rubbery touch, which just enough friction to comfortably hold the iPad.

Was reluctant to buy without any reviews, but I can report that it fits the 5th gen well and that pencil charging works. I like that it is a custom fit for the latest too.

This is a thin flexible “gel” type, completely transparent TPU case. It fits my 2021 5th generation iPad Pro 12.9 inch tablet perfectly. Everything on the case (every button and cutout) lines up perfectly to the iPad.The case adds much appreciated grip when holding the iPad. Even the tiny speaker holes line up well. And the button covers are very tactile and responsive. Amazing that you can get this high quality at such a reasonable price!

You get what you pay for with this cover which is next to nothing. Although the corners are reinforced and fit tightly the sides are very loose. Each time you pickup your IPad the cover sides flex out giving you the feeling the cover may just come off. Waste of money for any reason.

The case fits nice let but it does not charge! I followed the directions, tried attaching the pencil in both directions, nada. It will hold in place, but it will not charge while doing so. *sigh*I’m always one to try different things out to make sure it isn’t user error.. I made sure the case was on snugly too.

But can’t use with Magic Keyboard.

fit my ipad pro 12.9" 2021 version nicely, thin and not that heavy, but still got some weight, but much more lighter than some other ones. and no much thickness increase as well, so the clip should still hold it the ipad well.
