Dependable Temp Control
My husband says this temperature controller works great and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. He especially loves the dual outlet feature that allows him to both heat and cool as needed, which makes controlling the environment much easier. The setup was straightforward, and the digital display is clear and easy to read. Having the ability to automatically regulate temperature without constantly checking or adjusting it has been a huge convenience. Overall, this controller is reliable, efficient, and takes the guesswork out of temperature control. If you need precise heating and cooling management, this is a solid and dependable choice.

After two years it's still working! UPDATE AT 4 YEARS FIVE YEARS!!!
I looked at many controllers before settling on this one. First I needed one that would handle a 15,000 btu window a/c so that put many of them out. Between the rest, I ended up choosing this one. Very happy with this! It's pretty easy to set and the only reason I say pretty easy is because I have to think backwards since you set the shut off temp first (for a cooling appliance) and then add the number of degrees to that for when it cuts on. Probably easy for most everyone else but me. Still, it's an easy press of the button to set the on and off temp. It's got a nice long power cord and a nice long temperature probe cord which is very handy for me. It's worked perfectly all summer and we've had a couple of power outages. It also has a compressor delay function which is helpful. I'd buy this again if I needed another and have recommended it to a few friends. UPDATE: After two full hot summers running my large window a/c unit, and now being used to turn on/off two heat lamps I have to say I'm more than pleased with this unit. This past summer it would trip it's breaker occasionally and I thought perhaps it was the controller but later realized my old window a/c unit was off and on pulling too much power at startup coupled with periods of too much voltage spikes and dips on my line after the wind turbines were powered on all around me. It's running the heat lamps perfectly and the temp probe reads spot on with another thermometer probe I have hung next to it so I can read the temperature from inside. I highly recommend this unit. UPDATE at 4 years: Still no problems or complaints! This thing just keeps on working perfectly and spot on with the temps and controlling whatever I have plugged into it. I first thought it was a bit expensive when I purchased it but now I see that it's worth every penny and more. Don't hesitate to buy this if you have any needs at all for controlling a heating or cooling device. UPDATE AT 5 Years: Still going strong and reliable as ever. I count on this to keep my water lines from freezing in the rv basement area and it has it's work cut out for it for several months of the year, running two heat lamps. Seems perfectly on temp. Definitely a great purchase!

Great product with excellent customer service
I have had experience with several temperature controller units over the years, and this one is the best I've used, both in reliability and ease of programming and use. The instructions are fairly easy to get through, and it's easy to program. I did have a "hiccup" in my unit, but when I emailed the company about it, they got back to me in a couple of hours with the solution, and the solution worked just right! So in addition to the good unit they sell, they back it with great customer service. The one issue I have with this unit is that its thermostat is wildly off every morning for some reason, registering temperatures far higher than I know is correct, at least at times. I put two other digital thermometers next to this unit, and most of the time their temperature readings were lower and more accurate to the "feel" of the room climate than the Bayite unit. However, before mid-day for some reason, all thermometers had the same temperature reading. The Bayite unit just regularly reads temps that are not accurate, especially in the morning for some reason, but "corrects itself" within hours. I did not deduct a star from this review because of that issue, since the unit does "balance" itself by mid-morning to agree with other temp readings. Aside from that, it's a really solid product and works very well, backed by very efficient customer service.

This controller works great and is easy to program. We are using it to control a 10,000 BTU air-conditioning unit for our wineroom. The AC unit is located in our service room and the cold air output is fed into a 6" insulated duct to the wineroom, 25 ft. away. I remotely located the controller's temperature sensor (2 wire NTC type) in the wineroom. The controller is in the service room. You can set the temperature and the hysteresis to within 0.1 degree F. This is the on/off set points. I set our to fluctuate 0.5 degree F so the AC unit would not cycle on and off too much. I set the temperature to 56 degrees F and it cools it to that temperature perfectly, then it allows the room to heat up to 56.5 degrees F before turning on again. It's perfect and the displays are big and bright. To make the AC unit operate below is lower limit of 62 degrees F, I moved the AC unit's thermistor from the face or cooling fins of the evaporator. (update: I discovered that the AC unit was sometimes shutting off before the controller would so I added a 68kohm resistor in parallels to the AC units thermistor. This makes the AC unit run colder and solved the problem) Prior to getting the controller, I had remotely located the AC unit's temperature sensor in the wireroom but I found the temperature fluctuated a lot (up to 6 degrees). I think this is designed behavior to improve the AC unit's efficiency so the best solution for excellent temperature tracking is using this controller. (update: I found the AC unit runs its fan at least 30 seconds prior to the compressor turning on. This was causing a temperature drop in the wineroom so I adjusted the controller to 0.1 degrees F between the on/off setpoints an this makes the winreoom operate within 0.4 degrees F of the set temperature. The is a 1500% improvement because of the controller compared to not using the controller as the temperature was fluctuating 6 degrees before. Succsess!
