It’s worth it!
This product is worth the buy! I initially started using a very popular beard dye years ago but in recent years. I believe the formula changed! I started having severe reactions. I researched the product to find a lot of people had filed complaints for the same reasons. I then started using a natural beard dye which didn’t quite color my beard black in color. It was more of a dull black and it looked horrible! Not to mention my beard would turn purple in the sunlight! Moreover it was a 2 or 3 hr process. However I continued to use it for a short while but eventually gave up on it. At which point i started to use a beard pen daily which was costly. However I never gave up looking for a natural dye, I found one that claimed to be natural but it wasn’t. It worked but burned my skin. Finally i found a natural dye that worked which became my go to and i had no allergic reaction. However after several purchases. It’s no longer offered on Amazon. It’s still on the market but I needed it right away. I saw this one and ordered it as well i ordered my normal dye on another site. I used this one and I love the results! My beard is BLACK and it is NATURAL looking. It doesn’t like a dye job. It looks more natural than my normal dye and it lasts longer! I actually do not have to touch it up for a few days. This is my new go to. My only complaint is it’s a 1hr30min process. But it’s worth it. I still use the other one in between uses of this one. Only when I don’t have the time to use this one. ONLY because the other one only takes 20 mins. However this is my primary choice and I’m glad I took a chance on it.

I look like Ronald McDonald
It didn't have the harsh chemicals that would make my scalp itch. But It's messy and my hair color was red when the sunlight hits my head. I got the black dye so not sure why it turned out red

It works
Hair and beard dyes started giving me chemical burns. This tingles a little when you 1st put it on but doesn't burn. The smell is strong and earthy. It kind of reminds me of seaweed, or spinach that was starting to go bad, but no worse than chemical dyes. Chemical dyes would also leave my face stained. This does to a degree but not as bad. I use this to darken my greys for electrolysis so I can't say how well it does on a full beard. That being said my electrologist said it worked and she could see the hairs much easier.

Good for sensitive skin, lengthy process to apply
It you have sensitive skin this is the best product I’ve tried for no rash whatsoever.Unfortunately, it takes over two hours for the product to be used. Over one hour to mix and apply and let the primer set and over another hour to rinse it off , mix and apply and let the color set. Even then it only worked marginally well for me.If you have the access time and your beard absorbs the color easily, this could work well for you

Does not work. Applied three applications three days apart and yet my beards was still brownish looking. Also, the smell is horrible.

His #1 Choice!
I bought this twice now, He loves it. Everything else he tried breaks out his face.. It smells bad but does the job.. A box last few months.. We mix it up and save left overs in sealed container.. Until ready to re purchase.

This works great if you mix it properly
I have tried everything. Just for men's BURNT my face so bad I had to get emergency treatment and it still affects me from time to time and that was 6 years ago.I tried the Grizzly Mountain non allergic dye but my beard would turn Blue.I decided to give Indus Valley (BLACK) a try and it worked great, did not have any reaction to to it but did have a reddish black tint to it.The 2nd time I mixed it I just made an adjustment and lighten the reddish and left it on for 30 minutes instead of 45 minutes & I also washed my beard with Ivory Soap first to clean my beard and made sure it wasn't oily so to speak. I rinsed the ivory soap out of my beard with warm water and patted it dry leaving it somewhat wet, not dripping wet, just moist.I then applied the 2nd application and made it a little thicker than the 1st application and kept on for 45 mins to an hrs. I rinsed it in my shower and after about 5 or 6 hrs it started to really darken.I actually wanted it to darken more so I waited 2 days and redid the 2 application but didn't use much. I did a very light coat with they reddish color, again I washed my beard lightly with ivory soap before I applied it, kept my beard moist & applied both applications. I applied the reddish tint very lightly and kept on for 30 minutes, rinsed with warm water and kept my beard moist and applied the 2nd coat a little thicker and kept on for 45 minutes to an hr and rinsed with warm water and patted dry. The very next day the reddish tint disappeared and my beard turned BLACK with no blue tint to it. I know it sounds like a lot of work but it really isn't. My beard was all Grey when I started the process. To me it was worth it, especially after everything I went through with Bad infection and painful blisters that Just for Men's did to my face. It was horrible. Grizzly Mountain would always leave a Blue Tint to my beard and never give me the Black results that I wanted. After almost giving up I decided to try one more time and bought Indus Valley and give it a try. Even though I had to make a slight adjustment to the direction I was very pleased and Relieved that I didn't have my face Break out and Burned and achieved the results that I wanted. I actually get compliments on my beard. For those that are displeased try making small adjustments until you get the desired color you want and make sure you wash your beard real good with Ivory Soap to get all the oils etc... that may have built up in your beard over time, if your beard has oil etc.. it will affect the way the dye works.Anyway just wanted to put that out there for you guys.

I ordered black beard color now I have no black a green tint n still grey. there is no black what so ever I wasted over an hour and a half n zero results except green tinted beard.I only give 1 star since I had to add one so the 1 star is for the no irritation or burn at least.
