Highly recommend!!
Wayyyyy better than soy chunks you’ll buy at the store locally. I will buy these again. I love that they don’t expand too much and absorb a ton of liquid. They keep their texture. Also, the strong soy flavor that normal chunks have, these don’t!!! It will take on the flavors you add wonderfully.

Great product if you know how to use it.
I’m a big fan of this meat alternative. I’m not a vegan but do try to control the amount of my meat intake. The nice thing about this product is that you rehydrate it in whatever liquid and spices you want and it’s particularly good with Asian flavor profiles.Soy, ginger, spicy sauces, broth, a sweet element, onion/garlic powder, and even a splash of acidity liven this right up. It’s best to let it sit in your seasoning liquid overnight in the fridge for best results. If you test it out, you’ll find just about the right liquid to prevent it from being dry or soggy. It soaks up liquid efficiently and the texture is incredibly good when used in a stir fry with fresh vegetables. For a soy liquid, I’d recommend 1:3-4 parts soy sauce and water plus ginger, chilis, five spice or whatever floats your boat.

It is OK
Taste not so great. It is just substitute meat. It takes a while to absorb moisture, too. I do not think I will buy it again.

It’s hard not to see kibble when looking at it. New to the life style.
Yeah, I know it’s not meat. I know it’s dried. But it is shaped like kibble. Since I’m not as schooled as most who have used this for years, it is imitating to use. Soaking it in hot water. Well ok and? How can I infuse flavors? I’ve tried other brands that seem to be easier for me. I wish I could return but I cannot. I cannot give to others. I’m the outlier in my group. I’m gluten free. They can eat gluten based products.

Looks Like Pork Rinds Then Becomes Something Like Meat. Amazing!
Because I have a lot of digestive problems I was looking for something that I could eat that would substitute for meat. I came across this meat substitute made from soy and decided to give it a try. The packages came and I was surprised that they were so light weight. I followed the instructions which are easy, one to one water to Wholesome Provisions Just Like Bee or Chicken. I found that one cup of water and one cup of the Just Like produced too much for one meal for me, so I did 1/2 a cup of water and half cup of Just Like and that was a better serving size for me for one meal. First boil the water then mix in the Just Like, reduce boil and stir until all the water is just absorbed. This only take a 2 to 3 minutes and it comes out looking like and having the mouth feel texture of meat. My favorite combo is to mix it with barbeque sauce and treating it like you would pulled pork on a sandwich. Maybe add vegan cheese. I've used in with marinara sauce to make spaghetti. I added it to ramen noodles to chicken or beef it up. It is so versatile and easy to make. I really love it.

Add more liquid to rehydrate, adding a little oil, liquid smoke and dash of vinegar even better.
Really good but it needs more liquid (broth best), best if rehydrated on stove. To add extra flavor add liquid smoke, dash of vinegar and olive oil to the rehydration.
