If you can run the needed electrical circuit to where you will install the unit or have one there already that will meet the power needs of the specific unit, this is literally a no brainer. Installed the 12kw DHX 12-2 Plus unit under our kitchen sink and the water is now hot within seconds as opposed to a minute or longer (sometimes two) before the install. If in doubt on the size go bigger as it is better to have more capacity, flow and heated water than not enough, and the prices of the units are not all that different as you upsize. We are now planning on building a house and may actually run one of these to each place where needed instead of a whole-house unit pushing water from near the whole house unit to the farthest faucets, etc. Certainly more up front costs with the number of units, wiring needed and a bigger panel/service along with potentially more units to fail, but the ability to have hot water instantaneously where needed makes life a little better each time you use it.

I’m going to keep my review short, had this for 3 months now feeding my laundry and kitchen sink and dishwasher and it’s been exactly what I hoped it would be. Extremely satisfying and am ordering 2 more smaller ones for my bathrooms. Easy installation and setup.

I used this small water heater for my game room above my garage which has a bar sink and another sink in a half bath (wife calls it a powder room). I don’t need a large flow rate and distance to other hot water sources was too far. It’s working out well. I get the hot water flow rate I need and don’t have to wait for the water to get hot. One slight hitch was having to remove the cover and push the internal reset. When it didn’t get hot I looked in the manual and all became clear!

Wasn't sure if it was large enough for my pool house so I called manufacturer. When he found out I live in Florida, it was a definite yes. It's been in use now for several months and supplies all the hot water I need.

this product did not work, had electricians trying to figure it out, they checked it out and told me i needed one that worked properly. I had been trying to send it back. I would not even give it a one star rating

Prior to buying this instant water heater, built in Germany, I purchased a USA branded instant water heater that proved to be an expensive piece of junk. Likely it was made in China. In any event that first water heater had cheap, inferior internal parts that failed after only a few months, then leaking water all over the place where it was mounted. This German made instant water heater appears to be much better quality, I have had it installed for only two months so I can’t comment on its durability. Hopefully it will be good. Installation was pretty straightforward. Uses 120V or 220V depending upon which model you purchase. It’s adjustable for how hot the water will be, starting at 108 degree F. I have mine set at 115 degrees F and that is a good setting; hot but not scalding.

No issues…. Instant hot water. Just love it.
