These brooches are just beautiful! They are a nice weight and their colors are brilliant. I will definitely purchase them again. I used them for crafting, but I set aside a couple to wear.

As the cooler temperatures come in, I've started wearing my sweaters and cardigans again (yay!!), and was in need of something to keep them closed. I was looking for something smallish, not too heavy, and that has a "wow, pretty!" factor that would make me want to compliment a stranger if I saw them wearing it, but that didn't look too gaudy. These are perfect.Packaging: A bit over the top, but none of my pins were damaged, so I appreciated it! They came on a printed cardboard sheet, inside a thin plastic cellophane bag, inside a thick well-taped bubblewrap bag, inside a thick white plastic shipping bag, all tucked inside a big thick plastic Amazon shipping bag. Yep... the suspense was definitely heightened by the time I laid eyes on the pins themselves. Worth it! The printed cardboard sheet is very plain and not pretty, so if you're giving them as gifts (they'd make very pretty tiny gifts), invest in a little jewelry box with padding from the Dollar store... it'll make it look 10x more expensive!Quality: They're really, really, really pretty. The jewels are sparkly, the designs are well-thought out, and the golden-colored metal and bright jewels compliment eachother. The setting of the stones isn't perfect - some of them are a glued in a bit off-center, but nothing super noticeable unless you're very up close. I've seen worse! The pins are soldered onto the back firmly, and it's a simple hook-under pin instead of the roll-over lock style. I'm not sure if that's going to be a pro or con... it may come undone at some point and get stabby? I don't have much experience with that pin style. I do believe the extra "gift" pin my set included is a manufacture's imperfect "second", since the pin on the back was soldered unevenly, but all of the other pins were well-done. I still appreciated getting it, it's a very pretty free pin!Quantity: The set officially comes with 12 pins, 2 different designs for each color scheme of reds, pinks, purples, blues, greens, and browns. I received one extra pin attached to the bag like some other people noted in their reviews... mine was a pretty green one.Size: They range from about an inch to an inch and a half, depending on shape. I was worried before buying that they'd either be too small, too big, or too heavy and weigh down/rip my delicate knit sweaters, but I wore one for several busy grocery-shopping hours today and it worked perfectly! Out of curiosity, I weighed them, and each weighs .3 oz, which is a teeny bit on the heavier side, but I don't think they could have been made much lighter and still retained the quality.All in all: I really love them, absolutely no buyer's remorse. My 13yr old daughter also loves them and has already added them to the list of things that she gets when I'm "too old". I can actually see them lasting several generations with occasional wear, but at the price, it's ok if they don't!I hope you found this review helpful! Super cute

For a nice inexpensive price you get many beautiful vibrant brooches. All have a nice pin backing that clasps firmly. I get compliments every time I wear them, they stand out and shine in the light. Perfectly “Grandma Chic!”

Great for making your own bouquet. Some of the gems fell off but overall the quality was sturdy, sparkly, and pretty.

I ordered these to decorate wall paper wrapped coffee cans for centerpiece base for a party. They add a little elegance and sparkle to the cans and once the florals are added they will be really pretty! Good quality and excellent price.
