If you're wondering the difference between silk and satin, Silk is a fiber, whereas satin is the weave. Most silk pillowcases are both silk and satin, but you can find satin pillowcases made of polyester for a lower price. Mulberry is the highest quality of silk you can find. - Good Housekeeping. Is it really made of silk? The title says silk, but the description says polyester.

Pure silk fabric is made from silk worms whereas polyester is a synthetic. The benefits mentioned in this product are false. Only pure Silk can claim those attributes.

If Satin is the weave and not the material, then what’s it made of?

Satin is a weave not a fabric. All these people complaining that it’s not satin, it is. Satin can be made of rayon, or polyester, silk blends, or nylon.

How to properly wash?
