I tried a lot of self made ways to keep the birds away. I finally researched products made for the purpose and settled on this one based upon reviews. This is a quality product that was easy to put in once you get a rhythm. I would use pliers instead of my fingers when sliding the holders. As suggested by others I bought extra holders since I didn’t want to do it twice. I’m glad I did. Since putting these the birds are gone! It took about a week for them to figure out they don’t have a hiding place or home here anymore. Before I put them on I dragged the hose up to clean out all bird droppings and nesting material. Then I kept going until finished. It’s been a while since they been on and there has been no deterioration but if the plastic coating comes off the metal will still hold because it is thick enough but not too much to bend in place. Absolutely great purchase. You won’t be disappointed!

So far so good. Installation was pretty simple. It easily cuts with a pair of dykes. The hooks and small plates that it comes with where easy to handle and work well. They are perfect with my black solar panels. Almost unnoticeable from the ground. Just a tip, overlap the corner on one edge by three to four inches. Snip a few of the horizontal links at the bottom and fold up. For me it was three snips. Then fold the mesh over and install a hook and plate over the corner. Push down on the folded up section and boom!! Neat looking corners that keep the critters out. The sides of the panels where the frame work juts out is also simple. Basically just hold the mesh over the frame and snip its shape out with the dykes, as you move down the run. I made sure not to go to low so I could mold the mesh close to the bottom of the frame. Quality of the mesh seems pretty good. Honestly don’t have anything to compare it to. Time will tell as far as rust and stuff, but I’m not too worried about that. The coating it comes with is good quality. I would definitely recommend if you’re ok with going on your roof, and in my case some work off the ladder. This actually saved me over 900 $. I needed two rolls and did the job in about 4 hours. My solar panel installer quoted me 1200$ to do this job..

I love this product. Affordable high quality very easy to install and they have the most durable clips. I am not a contractor or installer and was able to set this up on my own solar panels. Haven’t found any droppings or damage to the panels since. Product works great.
