Nice place of kit very sturdy

Comes with 'manual' in English on one side of a small folded slip of paper (reverse side the same in Chinese).The manual has:No component identification diagram.An incomplete list of contents (omits the 2 small grey bits which are so-called 'knobs' = 1 + a spare(?))Four very small grey-tone images which are indistinct and poorly reproduced.The knobs are needed to provide space between the SSD and the PCB and to latch the SSD onto the PCB. Unfortunately the knobs are in the wrong grade of plastic, (too hard) and will not press through the PCB.However, if a knob is pre-sprung closed with pliers it then works quite well.Bonding the 'thermal pad' to the SSD main IC chip only works if the caddy is intended as a permanent home for the SSD. If not, then, perhaps, bond the pad in the same location, but to the underside of the aluminium lid, where it should be able to do exactly the same job(?).

It usually works as expected, fast enough for USB 3.0.I use it in my car to store my music but from time to time the system stops recognising it, it doesn't happen with different USB drives.Six months later from time to time it fails to start.
