Depending on how you wear it. The Velcro could come open. As the hooks part of the Velcro has more surface area than the hook part. SMALL complaint. Only complaint. Otherwise, very comfortable with good Velcro.

Comfortable addition to minimalist carriers
Added these to my Ferro Concepts Slickster plate carrier, which is currently carrying heavy plates for exercising, and it's made it far more comfortable to wear. Really a nice upgrade. Doesn't add that much bulk, but does add good comfort, and I'm glad they were available in grey because it's a less common gear color.

Worth the money
I use these with my SOG Ninja ruck pack with 40# for up to 5 mile rucks. The SOG straps are fair on their own but clavicles get sore when carrying over 25#. These pads fit the straps perfectly and stay in place, providing plenty of comfort for the heavier load. I thought these were a bit pricey, but now that I've used them a few times, I'm very happy with the fit and comfort. Cheaper pads may not have been as good. These are worth it IMHO.

nice thick shoulder pad option. i dont wear it all day, but 30lbs loadout for a couple hours is very reasonable.
