Better for the clutch and comp compatible oils
I tried other compatible oils in the last year, but the BMW oil works best with clutch grip.

BMW's OEM Motor Oil - Is oil from Nat Gas the real deal?
My first try of this oil for my new BMW F900XR. This is factory fill. Bought this for top off during miles 600-6200 I like the idea of a clear base oil. Better than starting life as crude oil.

Worth the peace of mind!
The real deal with base oil made from natural gas by Shell. Why buy an expensive BMW motorcycle and use oil such as Rotella which is formulated for diesels? To save around 40 bucks per oil change. 40 bucks. A very expensive motorcycle. 40 bucks. Not me. I'll gladly pay the $40.

You can’t find it anywhere other than a dealer.
I needed an extra quart and I know that the oil is model-specific. My nearest dealer is 75 miles from me so this was the way to go. Probably going to buy the oil change kit next time it’s due.
