We bought this ball for a nephew recently because we bought one for our son about 15 years ago. Our son used this ball to develop correct shooting form at a young age. He ended up a four year varsity high school player that was a leading scorer on his team and a player of the game in the state championship tournament. We give a lot of his shooting ability credit to this ball. Young kids develop poor habits due to balls that are too heavy for correct form. This ball helps to fix that problem…add hard work and the combination can lead to great things on the court.

This is a great basketball for the quality and value. I run a 2nd grade clinic and this is one of the nicer balls there. I only use it for indoor so not sure how well it holds up outside, but has been great inside the gym. It’s a size 5 for Kindergarten and 2nd grade.

This ball must have come with a tear in it, because it leaks air and we have to re pump it at after every single bball practice! It just hits the ground with a hard thud. So annoying. I’ve missed the return window, and now I’m stuck with a flat basketball. Can someone from Spalding please contact me?! I have no way of contacting this company on the Amazon page.
