Once you apply it and it dries you can sun & swim and it will stay on.

Does this product work well on the face?

I didn't like it on my face but my friend likes it on hers. I'm freckled and middle aged so that might be the reason.

If the mitt is “free” then why does the 8 oz bottle with the free mitt cost almost $10 more than buying the single 8oz bottle?

The mitt is awful, applies more smoothly with a hand. Wash immediately off your hands after applying,

When it fades off how does the product look?? Will it fade evenly or streaky and look like you used a self tanner

It gets spotty but you can exfoliate and reapply
