The book is arrived in very good conditions, without signs or pages torn, only a bit dusted but this is normal.

The final book in the conqueror series marks a great closure to the story of the Mongols. Although I must comment the author has not brought out the cruelty of the mongol retribution to muslim lands in central asia, especially that wrought by Hulegu Khan.. Maybe true history does not fit entirely in the narrative adopted by the author. All in all a fantastic ending to the 5 part conqueror series.

Spannend bis zum Schluss.

Une suite passionnante de la saga Gengis Khan. Je ne comprends pas pourquoi elle n’est pas traduite en français comme les 3 premiers volumes afin de la rendre accessible à davantage de lecteurs en France.

Conqueror, the fifth book in Conn Iggulden's epic historical fiction series, is a masterful blend of action, drama, and rich characterization. It continues the sweeping tale of Genghis Khan's rise to power, as he molds a once-scattered people into a united force capable of conquering neighboring empires. Iggulden's writing style is both accessible and engaging, making this book a page-turner for history buffs and casual readers alike. The author conveys the complex emotions and motivations of his characters while providing a vivid portrayal of the brutalities and harsh realities of war in the thirteenth century. The character development in Conqueror is exceptional. The relationships between the various characters are layered and nuanced, adding depth to the story. Genghis Khan is portrayed as an ambitious and cunning strategist, yet also a vulnerable and conflicted man, struggling with the weight of his decisions and the consequences of his actions. I was also impressed by the accuracy of the historical details woven throughout the book. Iggulden's passion for historical research is evident, and the result is a richly authentic depiction of the Mongol Empire and its people. Overall, Conqueror is an outstanding addition to the series that I highly recommend to anyone interested in historical fiction. It is a compelling story of ambition, conquest, and humanity, expertly crafted by one of the best writers in the genre today.
