I will be replacing all the older ones I have that just slip on and are open on one end with these - the old ones never stay put when squeezing a record between two others on the shelf. The plastic grabs and ends up slipping partially off exposing a portion of the cover. The only way to avoid this is to make a large gap between records and slip this in, but that's not usually doable. These don't have this problem because they seal completely, so stay put even when squeezing between two records. As a result they are much better at protecting the cover than ones that don't seal. They are crystal clear also so the artwork shines through nicely. Highly recommended for any vinyl collector!

Love, love, love these gatefold sleeves. The only gatefold sleeves I will put on my precious albums. I’ve probably purchased a few hundred of these and am very pleased with the quality. If you want to protect your vinyl gatefold covers, these are a must.

These will protect your vinyl. Easy to use, cost effective.

They're pretty thin and flimsy, but they do the job. Still a good value. They fit well in the album covers.

Very good quality with a flap that makes it perfect to place inner-sleeved vinyl in the back of the outer sleeve. They are durable, and have held up well. They also stay sticky for a relatively decent amount of time, I have not run into any problems yet.

See my original review below as it's still accurate, but wanted to add that i've been going through and putting one of these on EVERY one of the albums I keep in my personal collection. I've noticed as I go through the Japanese vinyl that I have for sale that all the resealable sleeves I've gotten from Japan are much thinner and lower quality than these are. They are the cats meow!! ------------ Ok, finally! Having tried 2 other vendors on Amazon for these Japanese-style re-sealable LP outer sleeves, I was frustrated as they always would split VERY EASILY along the seam (at top and/or bottom when the spine is put into the bag with the flap folding over the right side cover opening). It seemed like if I looked at them wrong they would split. Made it virtually impossible to safely put a Japanese 2LP pressing in without splitting and was even hard for single LP's, let alone gatefold covers. These are a bit more expensive but still only .40 each which makes them a bargain considering they DO NOT SPLIT at the seams! I've been buying vinyl in Tokyo for nearly a decade and have finally found a US vendor that sells the high-quality resealable outer sleeves I'm so used to getting from stores over there.
