Fantastic Cleaning- lube system. When Paired with Military Grade Gun Cleaner Solvent Spray Bottle by Breakthrough Clean Technologies - Non Toxic Eco Friendly Non Flammable & Better than CLP, All Purpose Firearm Cleaning 6 oz it works phenomenally on all my stuff, semi and bolts. I assume it would work great on pumps and levers just as well. very low odor, it is clear, and a little goes a long way. comes in 6oz spray bottle, more than enough to last a while if you are an occasional shooter or weekend warrior. the bottles are small enough to fit inside a molle pouch to strap to the side of your more tackle style range bags.so simple, just spray evenly- light coating. let it sit for a bout a minute to two minutes, and while clean with your brass brushes and other cleaning tools as preferred, wipe clean with microfiber cloth. apply thin layer of Breakthrough high purity oil, let sit 15 minutes to soak in, (grab a cold drink, relax, watch your local sports team) then come back, and reassemble your piece. test the action, as you do and wha-la.

This is my second order of this gun solvent. It's expensive, works well, and is odorless, - big plus for me.Same brand also makes an odorless gun oil which is great as well.

I'll explain how to fix the spray bottle at the bottom.I'll start my review mentioning the solvent itself. It works pretty well and is virtually odorless.There are some reviews that mention this doesn't clean as well as many of the more common strongly ordered solvents. However, I don't usually clean my firearms as often as I should, primarily because I hate the smell of most solvent cleaners. Because of this, I would argue this solvents help me keep my guns cleaner than other products.Further, there were a few places where I was unsure this solvent was doing as well as my Hoppe's solvent cleaner did, so I went back over them and was surprised to see there wasn't much difference. The Breakthough solvent did just as good of a job as my Hoppe's, without the odor. I think I saw some reviewss that mentioned it worked well, but maybe not clean enough for their carry or home defense gun. To those reviews I would say, I don't care if I clean my carry gun with Mayonnaise, I still expect it to fire when I need it. If you have a defense weapon that is that picky about any gun cleaning product, you need a new defense weapon.*HOW TO FIX THE BOTTLE*Many reviewers mention the sprayer is garbage, they are not wrong. Some of the reviews were a couple of years old and I was hoping the issue was addressed before I ordered; it wasn't. The pump only sprays 1 out of ~6 pumps. The issue is the spring in the pump is not strong enough to lift the pump enough to reset. Fortunately, the top pops right off and another spring can be added around the stem of the spray to lift the pump a bit more. I had a craft box of springs laying around, but I imagine a wide pen spring might do the job if it's cut down a little bit. Slide the spring around the stem and pop the cap back on and it should work like a charm. I will probably continue using this product, so I'll just keep swapping the spring every time I get a new bottle.If you don't have a spring available, you can manually lift the pump a small bit after each spray. It's tedious, but it will at least spray consistently.

I was looking for a solvent replace the Outers solvent I had been using to clean my full auto HK guns. The Outers did a good job but had a strong odder that stopped mu sinuses up and then had a hard time breathing. I was skeptical about how well Breakthrough Solvent would work in comparison to the Outers. I went out and shot my MP5-N with a suppressor and then went to clean it and the Breakthrough cut through the carbon just as good as the Outers with no smell. It even removed some carbon that was on the bolt head left over from the parts cleaner. This stuff cleans some of the dirtiest guns out there.

The spray feature is nice. Works on residue dirt. The best cleaning solution I have ever used.This is the only gun cleaner I will use in the future.
