HDMI to SDI Converter - HDMI to SDI Adapter Supports 1080P for Camera, Home Theater

Work great.

Decided on these ones being less expensive than the Blackmagic, not sure if they were going to work. Had a 60' SDI cable and they worked great, no loss, no intermittency, no heat problems. Came with power supply. I ordered an SDI to HDMI and HDMI to SDI from the same vendor and both worked great. Have it for a few months now, using them almost every week for hours at a time. Good value for the money.

Only outputs/converts to either 30P or 60P. Will NOT do 59.94, which is needed for broadcast video or any type of video switcher. I purchased several last year and they worked so I guess they have changed something inside and it no longer supports 59.94 frame rate. Had to return and try something else.

This product stands up to high name competitors like AJA and Black Magic. What makes this product unique is that it does not have a problem getting past DMCA Copy Protection. We use it in the TV truck to tie in an Apple TV for getting YouTube video of minor league activity and anything else we need to put into it... A great piece for the engineer's tool box.

Works as advertised. Does not see encryption in hdmi signal so you can send your signal anywhere which is usually a problem if you have high end converters like those from Blackmagic. Would still get a backup especially at this price if you plan on using this converter in a professional capacity.

I purchased three of these little converters a few months ago and so far they have worked great converting HDMI out of my cameras and into SDI for my Sony Anycast switcher. At just $30, they are a fraction of the cost of the converters my colleague purchased from a competitor.
