The fountain is amazing and this is the second time we bought this fountain for our 3 cats. It's quiet, and the fur babies love it and sometimes even dip their paws in it to play or clean themselves. With that being said I'd recommend a small waterproof mat for under it if you have curious kitties also. The only downside is the second purchase we bought the black fountain and even with the blue light on the inside, it's hard to tell the water level initially. For the first week I had the light on and was shining a flashlight on it to make sure I wasn't over filling or under filling. When the water gets about half way low the fountain starts to get a bit louder so you know it needs a refill or filter change and cleaning based off the noise of the water, I doubt this was an intended design, but it's an amazingly helpful feature and a friendly reminder to make sure your babies aren't neglected with their water. With our 3 cats it starts to get loud about halfway down which takes roughly 2-3 days, then just add another (approximately) 32oz of water.Cats rate this water fountain 5⭐ (stars) also

UPDATE 8/1/2025 my husband pulled the outer casing off and the fan wouldn't turn, he sprayed it with canned air and all is working again.BUT PLEASE NOTE: The company did reach out to us to tell us that it has a 2 yr warranty and gave us some hints to try get it running. I will save their info in the event it stops working again. Other than that. it is a great little feeder.I WILL SAY..... if I was to buy another, it would be a stainless steel one. We have hard water here and it has stained and scared the unit. So now we buy the dogs bottled spring water for this unit.Bought it April 22, 2025, today is July 26, 2025 and the pump has quit. Does nothing, no matter what I plug it into. I had it always plugged into a battery pack as there is no outlet near where it is. Worked great, have 2 battery packs and would swap them out. Stopped running today. Thought pack was dead, nothing from other pack either. So picked it up, took to sink...looked inside, was still clean. Filter was fine.... plugged it into the wall and NOTHING. IT IS DEAD. 3 months is all it gave.

We've had this for almost a year, we have one with a stainless steel top. Cats love it, obviously, but that says very little about the quality of design.It takes almost no brain cells to assemble, but again, says little about the design.After a year running constantly, the pump is very quiet. This is more helpful than you'd think, because when it gets a tiny bit louder, you know it's time to refill the water. Yes, the internal light can help monitor, but we leave it off because it's fairly bright at night.What I really like about it, though, is the cleanliness. I clean it with soap and water and change both filters once a month. The black filter always collects a good quantity of cat fur, but the water stays crystal clear between cleanings. This is due IMO to the stainless steel top and to the quality design.Negatives are quite minor. One of our cats makes a mess when he drinks, spilling water outside the fountain. To deal with this we've set the fountain in a tray, not directly on the floor. The fountain itself does not leak. I also attached some rubberized feet to the bottom.Overall, a well thought out cat water fountain.

Bought this in 2022 and it lasted until 2024, and only recently started using it again a month ago for another kitty. Both cats enjoyed drinking from it!The pump was still working, but was starting to get a little louder the last couple weeks.However, my complaint is the motor has so many pieces that come apart that I didn't even know came apart for a couple years. And even last week I found *another* piece that can come out.When I bought it, there wasn't a video on how to clean it, and the instructions didn't mention that when *fully* taken apart you should have 4 pieces (the face plate where the lightbulb is, the motor, the motor *fan*, and the part that holds the sponge.Because of this, there was a buildup of pink slime mold (a type of bacteria, actually). No matter how many times I scrub it down (I've used vinegar before too), it still keeps appearing. There are so many little cracks and places for the slime to nestle in that are near impossible to get it all out, so the slime mold will just come back. Cleaned it well a week ago and when I checked today there was more, in the basin, the pump, and even some on the filter (which I had just replaced)Decided to just throw away the dang thing.Might buy their stainless steel one next, because the kitty likes the flower design, and I hear it's more sanitary than plastic. Plus now that I know how the motor comes apart, it should be easier to take care of and keep pink slime free.The picture I'm posting is all the pieces of the pump. If you know what to do (unlike I did when I first got it), it should be alright though.I, personally, am just a little wary about cleaning pumps now

I needed something to replace an old, stainless steel water fountain for my cat, and preferred something that was easier to disassemble and clean. This fit the bill perfectly! I'm able to take everything apart and really scrub each piece to prevent biofilm build-up, which is so nice. It's super easy to put back together, too! I also appreciate how quiet it is because the running water sounds from our last water fountain drove my partner crazy. As a bonus, it's really easy to see the water level with the light feature!

My cat loves this fountain and drinks a lot more water now compared to a regular bowl. The constant flow keeps the water fresher, and the stainless steel lid makes it easy to wipe clean. I like that it’s quiet—you can barely hear it unless the water level gets low.The large capacity means I don’t have to refill it every day, but you do need to stay on top of cleaning and changing filters to keep it running well. Overall, it’s a great option if you want to encourage your cat (or dog) to stay hydrated.
