Excellent blank verse translation. Close to the original, very readable. Emily Wilson's version is good too.

The traducción is amazing. I'm Spanish and I can understand it perfectly and, not only that, I can appreciate the incredible level of traduccion.

Both the introduction by Bernard Knox and the translation by Robert Fagles are written in such clear and beautiful English that it is hard to put this book down. They have given the English speaking reader the opportunity to get to known the miracle of Homer's texts. This is a must read for everyone from 8 to eighty.

nothing wrong with the book. book was great and served me well through my greek mythology course. now, it sits in the shelf with other greek mythology books i had to buy for the course.
