perfect choice to be install on the back wheel of a mountain bike
I feel like this speed sensor deserves some kudos simply because it is very difficult to find a cyclometer for your bike that can be installed on the rear wheel and that works well. I have a 26" mountain bike that I typically take for a spin thru the year or use for exercising, however during very hot days or even raining or cold days I like to mount my bike on a stationary/ training tool and pedal in place and want to track my speed and pedaled miles. Every speedometer I looked into works well if is on the front wheel because that is the one that typically moves, or most of the new ones now come with GPS tracking which does not work if I'm using the bike in place.Long story short, this speed sensor works and functions well. It comes with 3 pieces, 1 piece goes on the back frame of your wheel, the other piece on the spoke, and one piece goes on the pedal area. The sensor connects easy via bluetooth to the app suggested on the site or the manual (I use the wahoo app and works great). The manual could use small improvements as it is a bit hard to follow. For me the hardest part was to install it correctly, it does take a bit of practice and trial and error a few times. Once you got where it needs to go, you use the zip ties they provide. They also provided a small allen wrench, which I have no clue where it goes as it is not needed. The piece that goes on the frame (the sensor), has a small arm which you can bend back and forth to make it closer to the magnet on the spoke to establish connection. It is easy to know if the pedal piece and the magnet are in range or lined up because the sensor has 2 small lights, a blue and green and as you move the wheel to test, you see the blue light go on, and the pedal when used and the magnet from it gets in range of the sensor, the sensor's green light goes off.Every sensor I have seen requires the sensor and magnet to be within 2-5 millimeters apart, well no issue with this sensor you just bend the small sensor arm as much as needed to be in range. far as battery life, too soon to know as I just got this and have been using for a few weeks, but uses a CR 2032 on the sensor.I would buy this over and over again because it has a very good price compared to all the other cyclometers that can range anywhere from 30-100's of dollars with wireless sensors, and GPS tracking, that mostly work on front wheel only, where this is small, simple and works with stationary bikes and super cheep.

Works perfectly with Polar M460
Needed a sensor replacement to my Polar M460 cycling computer. Didn't want to spend too much as the M460 is no longer supported by Polar but it is by far the easiest cyclocomputer I've used. This sensor works from the get-go, paired within seconds, the readouts are quite accurate, they fit my bike (old Specialized Tarmac S-Werks), I couldn't be happier. Longevity? I've used this for over 3 years, without a hitch. Highly recommended. I can't tell you you won't receive a lemon unit but should be easy to replace based on the vendor's reputation. I'd definitely buy again if needed.

Good unit with a quirk
I purchased this sensor to use as a speed sensor in my velomobile--a streamlined recumbent bicycle, that I typically cruise at 25 mph on level ground, smooth pavement. It works well with one major quirk--at speeds over 35 mph, it divides the speed in two. Thus, at 35 mph it reads correctly, but at 36 mph, my Garmin head units show 18 mph, at 40 mph, the reading is 20 mph, and so on. I live in the foothills of the Cascade mountains and routinely hit speeds in the 50-60 mph range, so this quirk is disconcerting to me, but would probably not be noticed by the vast majority of riders.

WORKS AS IT SHOULD.
I LIKE THIS BETTER THEN THE "EYE IN THE SKY" FOR MY ROAD BIKE AS THERE IS "NO BLACK" OUT UNDER TREES OR TUNNELS. EZ TO INSTALL.

Works like a charm
Very easy to install (Coospo YouTube Channel). Works perfectl with my Coospo computer.March 13 2023: After a few months of perfect functioning.. it stopped working. Changed battery and would not turn on. I contacted Coospo via email and they are sending me a new one.Very impressive customer service. All I needed to provide was the Amazon order number.

Worse Purchase of 2025...
Worse purchase of 2025. Needed to replace my speed/Cadence sensor Soni ordered this. It would not power on, I even used another new battery and NOTHING. To make matters worse, now I have to pay $30 to ship back this $27 device. Yeah, Amazon will give me $20 to cover shipping. So all I'm, I loose $10 on this purchase which sucks!! Never will I ever order another product from this company...

Great Budget Sensor
Got this about 2 weeks ago and it has worked really well so far. Ended up riding in the rain a little today and the sensor and connection didn’t skip a beat. I taped things in position so the sensor and magnets don’t move around too much, however it does come with bands and zip ties. The cadence monitor was pretty easy to align, but the speed sensor was a bit more touchy. The spoke magnet needs to be as close to the sensor as possible. I positioned the speed sensor arm in an upward position so I could lean the cadence sensor more towards the crank arm magnet (see pics). Connects perfectly with the Wahoo iPhone app. For the price, this is a really great option. Definitely consider if you’re on a budget and want something a bit more compatible than the Magene speed/cadence sensor (which I bought 2 of and was disappointed to find that with the iPhone it couldn’t do both speed and cadence at the same time through any app) and don’t want to pay top dollar for other “brand names”. I’ll circle back and update after a couple months of use, but so far so good!

Update : Great customer service on defective item.
UPDATE: Yes it failed, yes I really still gave it four stars (originally 2)First I view small parts such as this more as a consumable. While mine failed out of the box after writing this COOSPO customer service reached out to me and offered a full refund, without me asking.Anyone who provides good customer service deserves to be reconized.I have other small sensors from COOSPO all of which work well. The quality seems hit or miss. Mine was miss. I really wanted to like this item as I found it well made for the price. But, the battery drained within a day as did the replacement battery. The range from the sensor to the computer also seemed to be extremely short, no more than a meter. Ended up simply replacing this with two https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08252X8VS.
