Trapp Ambiance Collection Reed Diffuser Kit, No. 4 Orange/Vanilla, 4.5-Ounce

This was for a birthday present for a family member who doesn’t talk to me much but she seemed content with it. Enjoy! Makes a nice gift with minimal expectation or conversation which can be a blessing since the quality is on point. I feel the price is on the high side however, they appear to last a few months, just kindly remember to alternate the provided wic sticks.

Trapp's, Wild Current is by far the best fragrance in the whole line of their Home Fragrance collection. This fragrance is fresh, clean, mouthwatering, fruity, and uplifting. Trapp's Home Fragrance products have become my everyday go-to options. It seems that lately, I've been using their items more often than other brands. The Reed Diffuser Oil is a great option because of how versatile it is, which also makes it an economical choice. Aside from being a great reed diffusing room fragrance, it can be used in your atomizing diffusers, as a refresher oil for potpourri, I add about a teaspoon to the coordinating wax melts to enhance & prolong the fragrance. I have tried a few of the other fragrances from Trapp too, I really like the Bob's Flower Shop, Peony, Jasmine & Gardenia are all just awesome high-quality home fragrances. Next time I buy a home fragrance, I was planning on trying Trapp's Garden Lavender Reed Diffuser Oil & Wax Melts.

I’ve never tried a reed diffuser before, but I love the No.20 water fragrance (it smells clean without smelling like cleaning products) and have a bad habit of lighting candles and forgetting about them. Some reviews said the diffuser was super-strong, others said they could barely smell it - I suspect differences have something to do with the fragrance you choose and where you put it. I put mine in my study by the (usually cracked-open) window, because my pups hang out with me when I’m studying and after awhile, no matter how clean they are, it can start to smell like a kennel in there. It definitely fills the room, but not in a bad way, and unlike many other fragrances that mask doggie smells, the dogs themselves don’t find it overly strong or offensive. Plus, Trapp is from Kansas City, like me!

I have had this same diffuser for 5 or 6 months and there is still 1/2" left and it still scents the room so I ordered another one. I purchased the currant scented one. I have had three different diffusers prior to this one and there is no comparison. Yes, it is pricey (about $10 more than others) but it was so worth it. I hope it is always available.

Unfortunately, I do not like the smell of this oil. The glass bottle is great, but the smell of this turns my stomach. It's along the lines of the sugared vanilla scents from places like B&BW which I cannot tolerate. I will save the bottle, but I've had to dispose of the oil...and the reeds that were in the oil. It's far too perfumy for my tastes.

My sense of smell has not been the same since COVID, so keep that in mind when I say that this came off a bit strong in my opinion. Not a problem - moved it farther away...but there is something slightly off about it and I can't pinpoint what that is, which is why I'm happy to chalk it up to COVID. Red currant is my all time favorite scent, rarely do I come across one that I don't like. That said, I've had mine for probably a month and it smells as strong today as it did the first day, so kudos for that! I will try my trustee Archipelago red currant and if that smells weird to me too, then...it's me :( good product though for sure here!

This scent is wonderful. I use it in my bathroom. I loved it so much I ordered a second one because I didn’t want to run out.

The shipping was fast and correct. The actual product is a bit disappointing. I love Trapp and I love diffusers, but at this price point, I feel it should have a stronger smell. You have to get right up on it to smell it. Other diffusers at this price will fragrance a whole room. The candles are great though!
