WORKS LIKE IT SHOULD, THANK YOU
Works as it should👍had a problem with the hid bulb shutting off within a couple minutes of turning it on. Checked the bulb and it was good. Figured it was a bad ballast and decided to give this product a try.Plug and play, only problem was taking out the headlight connector out of the housing. This was solved by loosening the two 8mm? Bolts on the back of the headlight assy. So far so good, even comes with a new hid bulb that is brighter than the oem one. 5 stars

Perfect fit
Perfect fit for a 2001 Lexus ES 300. Installation took 45 minutes and was easy following YouTube instructions. Reliability and durability unknown as I just installed it.

Does fit toyota pruis. No high beam function
I have tried a couple different hid ballast for my 2005 toyota prius that didnt work. For some reason this car does not recognize the after market ballast?? I can take the kit and power it with a battery, but in the car nothing!?! This ballast fits just fine and there are a lot of youtube videos where people take apart the end connector to try and get it into the headlight housing. You have to look at the housing for a few minutes to figure out how to get the light socket into the housing. It can be done with a long screwdriver and a 90° pick. I suggest cutting the old connector off the ballast and using it to test out how to get it into the housing. Before you try to install the new one so you know how to do it. Its a little tricky and you need to be patient but does fit. It plugs in fine also. People complaining dont have any skills and should not try and repair things they dont understand. * i disvovered the high beam function no longer works* but i changed the HID bulbs to l.e.d. and they are really bright now! So 4 starts because now high beam.

Works As It Should
This item arrived well packaged. It was incredibly easy to install, requiring only the removal and re-installation of two screws and one electrical plug in, plus the installation of the light bulb itself, which was included with the purchase making it a better value. All of the parts look to be as good of quality as the original. I suspect they will be very durable based on the look and feel of the materials. So far, this is functioning just as well as new one. I haven't noticed any flickering and the bulb is a nice, bluish hue.

Perfect Match for 2000 Lexus ES300
This was worth it to make sure the problem was resolved. I had an HID bulb that flickered for 8 seconds and then went out. Assumed it was the ballast, but it ended up being the bulb. This covered all the bases and now I have both low and high beam working again.I definitely suggest this kit, as it is 1/3 of the price of just the bulb from an auto parts store.

Ballast worked for the car however the lightbulb is not the right one
The ballast worked for the car and I was able to get the light to work, but had to buy a different lightbulb. The one that came with it would not go back into the socket.
