Victorinox Rally Swiss Army Knife, Compact, 9 Functions, Swiss Made Pocket Knife with Magnetic Phillips Screwdriver, Bottle Opener and Key Ring - Red

I've carried this pocketknife for years. Eventually I lose it or give it away hence this purchase. It is the handiest ever and with exceptional quality. Its size makes it comfortable no matter whether you're wearing dress clothes or everyday. I like and regularly use every feature of the knife. So handy to trim a broken fingernail on the spot, to remove a splinter, to cut open a package or coupon or whatever. The toothpick as well. This is an invaluable upgrade from the Victorinox Classic because of the inclusion of a Philips head screwdriver. So handy for opening battery doors on toys and other devices. I also use it sometimes on larger screws that would ordinally call for a full size screwdriver. Saves a trip to the toolbox!

A lot of functionality in a tiny package. The combo tool is fantastic. I find myself using it, particularly the small Phillips driver, constantly to open and close battery covers and for making minor repairs. It’s always there on your key chain or in jeans watch pocket. The knife is sharp, reliable, and easily resharpened. Overall fit & finish is excellent.Wish they had the retractable ballpoint pen and led light on this model. That combo would be perfect.

This is almost identical to the extremely common Victorinox SD Classic (keychain size 58mm long). The only difference is the Rally replaces the scissors for a phillips screwdriver/bottle opener. I replaced my SD classic with this, I find the screwdriver and bottle opener more useful than the scissors were. In a pinch you can just use the blade in place of the scissors for most stuff, but the flat blade screwdriver just doesnt work on lots of small phillips screws.If you really want the scissors back, they also sell a Rambler which is a combination of the SD and Rally. Same size (58mm long) same blade, same file/flat screwdriver. It has both scissors and the phillips screwdriver in one knife, its heavier and twice as thick though.Cant go wrong with any Victorionox. I have lots of them, I personally find the rally to be the just the right size and functionality for my keychain.

Great little keychain knife. I debated on this one, with the screwdriver tool and the one with the scissors. I'm glad I picked this one, as the small phillips driver comes in handy quite often. The pen blade is sharp and good in a pinch, and the nail-file has a nice flathead screwdriver part to make this a really versatile tool to hang on your keyring. And of course it is a solid knife made by a great company.

Best tool you can use on any keychain or everyday carry. My favorite 58mm Victorinox besides the minichamp. Great weight and size. Much prefer the magnetic phillips driver instead of scissors.

Very good little knife, just a little smaller than I thought.

I bought this to replace a cheap Chinese imitation that had been a gift some 20 years ago. This one was a bit less expensive than the traditional Victorinox keychain knife, and I like having a Philips (cross-blade) screwdriver handy. My only issue, and it's a big one, is that its little ring that attaches to my key ring is at the same end as the cutting blade's hinge, unlike my cheap old gift. This design flaw makes it unnecessarily difficult to use the cutting blade while the knife is attached to the key ring. Since I must either remove it from my key ring, or contort my grip awkwardly, before I can safely cut anything, its utility is limited. Otherwise it's a good product. One thing I try to remember to write in every review, if I had it to do over again knowing what I know now, would I still buy it? Maybe. If the slightly more expensive, traditional Victorinox keychain knife, without the screwdriver, has the ring at the opposite end from the cutting blade hinge, that's what I would buy. I grade this product a disappointing B when it could easily have been A.

Perfect keychain size, same size as a key (or smaller!). The joints are very firm and stable. The blade is very thin/small, to the point that it seems almost comical, I don't know how much it will be able to cut aside from tape/paper. The screwdrivers work great. The tweezers feel very sold and springy. The file and toothpick are decent. I don't notice it in my pocket with my car key, and don't notice it when driving, so overall I'm very satisfied.
