Two months using it and I’m very satisfied at the moment

Bought this item a while back, only just opened it to find out it doesn't even work. Will be asking for a refund. Not sure if its a technical glitch or the product itself.

I reqlly lose my money in this product , it was delivered to me 14 Nov .. and i use it two times for my body , then at 14 Dec .. it stopped from working again . I need to return it or at least should be there a warranty on this costy product.

kann mir ein Leben ohne das IPL-Gerät von Braun nicht mehr vorstellen, verwende es einmal im Jahr für ein paar Wochen und habe den Sommer über meine Ruhe - kein Wachsen und kein endloses Rasieren mehr und VIEL billiger als Termine im Studio!

Ich hatte mich so gefreut mein Geburtstagsgeschenk zum ersten Mal zu testen. Leider wurde mir das Gerät defekt geliefert. Im Moment warte ich auf die Rückmeldung vom Lieferanten - die kam am nächsten Tag! Die Rückmeldung vom Händler ist nur leider wenig Hilfreich. Ich solle mich an Braun wenden (eventuell wird mein Hauttyp nicht unterstützt oder ich bin zu "blöd" für die Benutzung)! Alternativ könnte ich das Gerät kostenpflichtig zurückschicken! 2× 17€ Porto für ein Produkt was seit dem ersten Moment nicht funktioniert hat. Kundenservice geht wirklich anders!!! Ich kann jedem nur abraten dort zu bestellen!!!!!

I decided to buy this product during lockdown, because I was unable to go to the clinic where I used to get my laser done. I'm Mediterranean, with dark and strong hair but not very dark skin and I've been doing laser treatments for more than 15 years (mainly in my face and legs). I've spent thousands of €/£ and even if these treatments helped, after a while everything came back to normal... This machine is perfect for me, because, even if it's quite a big investment at the beginning, I have already recover the purchase cost on the 6 months I've owned it. If you are in the same situation than me, you probably already know that you are going to pay 8 sessions for 800£ (at least) and after that you will need to keep going, because, I'm sorry to say, the hair is not going to disappear 100%. Even worse, if you leave too much time between treatments, the hair will come back again like nothing has happened. I'm not saying that this product is better quality than the other lasers machines that I've tried, but in long term it is, since you paid it only once, and you can use it as much as you want/need from the comfort of your home, and you won't have the problem of needing to wait until you can afford to pay an extra 800£ for a new treatment. My only regret is that I'm not very consistent and I keep forgetting to do it every often, but even if that is the case I can see that my face has never been that clean for a long period of time and that I've lost the half of the hair I used to have on my legs. I don't know how this product will work in people that have never had laser treatments, but if you are like me and are fed up of wasting money on clinics that promise miracles that are not going to happen, you really need this. Once again, if you have suffered the painful laser professional machines, this is going to be nothing for you. I really cannot feel it! Just make sure you shaved your legs before using it (if you do it weekly for the first 12 weeks as recommended, you probably won't need to shave, because you won't have any hair!) The first time you use it is a bit weird because you are not use to it so don't know how to do it best or you are not sure if you have passed it in every single part of your body, but don't worry, after a couple of times it will be easy to use and quick. Sorry for the long review! First time I leave a review in Amazon but I thought this product really deserved it!

The item just arrived, I have not used it yet. I'll add more details once I use it. So far it seems good. Easy to hold, not to heavy and I like that screen isn't too small. Can't wait to use it. *UPDATE* It is not painful in areas you have less hair. But in areas you have more hair (in my case my legs, underarms etc) it can be a bit painful. However, if you're as hairy as I am (I have Pcos so you can imagine how hairy I am) then this pain is nothing in comparison to other hair removal methods. I have used waxing which is painful plus it takes ages and I've used epilators and trust me, the meek little hot sting you feel for 2 seconds while using this device is nothing in comparison. Today was my first week of use and I will make another update a few weeks later. So far my advice would be to read the guide book that comes with it and just go for it. Shave your hair right before using, I say this because the light wants to target your roots, so, your roots should be exposed to it. That's all I've got folks, All the best. *UPDATE 2* Have been using it for a few weeks now, however not as frequently as was suggested, it's because i got busy with uni. Anyhow, even with me not following all the instructions that well, this device still showed results. For starters my hair takes wayyyyy longer to grow now, more importantly, I'll actually have areas of my legs completely clean with some hairy patches here and there which reminds me i should pay attention to where i am lazering. Definitely would recommend investing in this product esp if your skin is light /fair and the hair is dark black. It works best on that combination.
