I've been in search of the perfect panties so I decided to give these a try. Based on others comments, I sized up. I normally wear a size 10 pants & size large panties. I purchased an XL and am glad I did! They come up a little higher than I usually like, and I didn't want to like them because of it. BUT, they are sooo pretty, comfortable and great quality that I love them! The lace is soft & not scratchy. The fabric is not thin & cheap feeling. The elastic in the waist is about 3/4" wide and stays in place. My hubby says they are "sexy". Sexy briefs...whaaaat! I will buy again. Update: It's been several months since my initial purchase and have since ordered more. I LOVE these panties. Definitely size up 1 size. They do NOT roll, pinch or feel uncomfortable in any way. I only wish they offered more color choices.

These are gorgeous panties & extremely well made! Unfortunately I read too many reviews and sized up as many recommended and based off the size chart. I think their size chart is extremely off. I’m a size 10/12 carrying most of my weight in my stomach, butt & thighs and ordered the XL. They are fairly big so just returned. My thighs are extremely large and they were still loose. I read a couple reviews that stated they were cut narrow. I didn’t find that to be the case. There isn’t much stomach support, no compression to help tuck in, besides being really high waisted. Going to order again in a L so hopefully that works.

Nobody is perfect despite how much we may love our bodies. I, for one, love my curves, but I also know what is flattering on me and what isn't. Unfortunately, I have to wear a dress this holiday season for a wedding that is NOT flattering on me. Secondly, the strategic placement of the lace actually works to smooth out love handles WITHOUT SQUEEZING THEM, thus avoiding the Pillsbury dough phenomenon. Thirdly, it's not a body shaper, but it does have some tummy control. It smooths out problem areas rather than aim to make you look like you've lost a few inches. Overall, I'm really impressed by the quality and ability for this product to fulfill its advertised purpose. I can't get over how adorably retro these look.

I’m a size 2-4 and the small was too tight so I ordered the medium, fits perfectly! The rise is perfect, it fully covers everything without a weird panty line. They’re also very pretty and sexy! I’m 41 and ain’t nobody got time for uncomfortable undies!

i have purchased two packages of a different style of panties from Barbara Lingerie and am pleased overall with them though the lace is not holding up well and there are multiple size differences from panty to panty. This pack just arrived and I took pictures to advise other shoppers of the sizable difference in pairs of panties within the same package. I also note the raw elastic right at mid back that is sure to dig into me and eventually ravel as well as the strings. I doubt that the two pair of nude panties will fit me at all but my daughter will benefit. It’s really a shame. I want to like them. They’re very pretty in theory but I guess you get what you pay for. It’s a $5 panty.

I don't usually wear lace panties, but these lace panties from Barbra Lingerie have changed my mind. I really like these because the colors are pretty and they fit very well, true to size definitely. The waistband is adequate and does not roll down; the lace panels are perfect -- very soft and not scratchy like most lace is; the lace stays in place on the hips and thighs, there's no roll-up or bunching, and most importantly, the cotton crotch is adequate and gives me coverage where I need it which means it doesn't bunch up around my "V" and I love that the crotch fabric is the same color as the panty itself, and not the standard white cotton which I don't like at all. These panties are soft and silky, really pretty, feel good on the skin, fit well and, dare I say, they make you feel sexy, too. They really do. These panties are sexy! Excellent purchase, money well-spent ...
