It installs easily and it has a nice feature that you do not have to connect it to the tail light for power. They still have a harness for that and this harness messed up the install for me. The tips of the wires were exposed and are not separated in any way. The camera did not power up after the install because they were shorted. I had do go into the troubleshooting mode, bring my voltmeter and stuff to figure out what was wrong. All that just because the manufacturer was too lazy to separate the tips of the wires that were not essential for the install in any way. Another point: the power connector is just a cheap exposed wire. If your price point is $30 higher than competition, shell out a few cents for a decent connector that matches the one on your android device.

Install instructions are lacking, microswitch that controls trunk release was very faulty, kept randomly opening trunk! had to adjust the trigger. Fit and finish was poor, was too tight in hole and very difficult to install properly. THEN the cable is too short to reach the screen!!!...then recently image has been flickering with vibration from exhaust or music in trunk...looking for another camera currently/

Für alle, die auch das PEMP-Display verbaut haben ist diese Rear View Camera eigentlich ein Must Have. Nach Video Anleitung angeschlossen und verlegt, und was soll ich sagen, es funktioniert bestens! Noch ein Hinweis: im Video sieht man nicht dass das Rote Kabel beim Display auch an das rote 12 Volt Plus Kabel angeschlossen werden muss. Da fehlt der Kabelschuh am Kabel Display-Seitig. Ich hab dann halt eine Klemm-Schraub Verbindung genutzt, wie man früher die Birnen an der Decke im Zimmer angeschlossen hatte.

This camera has great quality and it fits perfectly on my 2016 f36 gran coupe. It also works great with my Xtrons headunit after you change the resolution right. Installation was easy. You have to move the electric boot switch from the old handle to camera body to make the electric tailgate work with the new camera handle.

Moin, nutze die Kamera an meinem E61 an einem Xtrons Autoradio. Die Qualität wirkt sehr gut (wird sich mit der Zeit besser zeigen). Die Bildqualität ist sehr gut aber ich hätte mir etwas mehr erhofft. Auch Nachts ist die Qualität sehr gut, reiche bei Bedarf gerne Bilder nach. Bin jedoch nicht sehr zufrieden, da der Blickwinkel ungünstig ist und die Parklinien das nachweisen. Siehe Bilder...
