Kit Cat Klock Stands (Kit Cat)

I brought this beautiful clock for my sister as a Christmas gift..I shop early to avoid delay.i know she would love this ..we use to have one by my mother home..but when she pass away it disappeared..and put alot of bad feelings with my sister..we are 4 girl and one boy ( me) ..she will love this because it will bring happy memories of my mom..thank you for this beautiful clock and packing is great..and educational..very original

After many hours of trying to make this clock work, we finally gave up. It was a gift for a physically and developmentally disabled relative, and she is very disappointed. It does keep time, but making the eyes and tail move by having the magnetic field just right wouldn't work.

I have no complaints. I felt like the stand was rather pricey when I ordered it, but given that the clock is for my daughter's dorm room, hanging it on the wall isn't an option. When the box arrived, there were actually two stands in it. There wasn't a quantity provided anywhere on the box, but they were packed in such a way that it felt like they were both supposed to be there, and given that value I felt much better about the price I'd paid. The clock fits perfectly and this is the perfect solution for a dorm room or other small (rented) space.

Overall, I think this purchase was necessary for my bathroom remodel. The Kit Kat Clock alone is incredibly tiny and I wish they made a larger version. Because they don’t, it looks best on a gallery wall with photos or other items that will take up negative space. Because I didn’t want a gallery wall full of things, I opted for the clear stand. I love it, but I had to make a minor adjustment. The stand is very thick and self explanatory to add to the back of the clock. There is a screw provided in the back for you to mount the clock. Here’s where it got annoying. After adjusting the clock (using the minute, or longer hand only, and giving the tail a slight push) it does in fact work… for a while. Every few hours or so the tail would stop wagging, but the clock kept working. Eventually I realized that some of the reviews were correct: the clock should be tilted a bit forward for the magnet inside to swing the tail. Aesthetics are important to me, so I used a clear spacer (for glass tables) and placed it on the back corner underneath the stand. THIS DID THE TRICK! The tail hasn’t stopped wagging and now I can enjoy the full capacity of the clock! The quality is great, and for what I need, it serves its purpose.

I am very happy with this purchase. This stand is durable and looks nice with the Kit Cat Clock. No need to put a hole in your wall when you can sit it on any flat surface with this stand.

Its a cheaply made item..

We had one of these when I was growing up, and somewhere along the way, it was lost. I always thought that I would replace it. It took me 40 years, but when I saw it I got it and have been glad I did. He makes me smile as I think about days gone by.
