HARIO F-103K Coffee Siphon Next Siphon Filter, K (Metal Filter)

I have an old Sunbeam C30 coffee maker (the "double bubble") that I got from my dad (thanks!). It has small down tube that won't fit a Cory glass rod (which does work fine in a Bodum glass vac-pot from the '90s). Filters for this (cloth) are long gone, but a folded piece of muslin works ok, just gets kinda coffee-stained. Found this hoping it would be a good working alternative for the antique (which still makes great coffee). Delighted to report that it fits and functions "perfectly". The water coming up bubbles a little more vigorously and once it cools a bit, the coffee heads south like like it's a race! Actually kinda fun to watch. The coffee has a little sediment and a little oil now that it lacked before--maybe I'll have to sieve out the dust before dosing, or change grinders. The new result seems a little like more a french press but not as muddy. Liking it.

Awesome! Love it. Works wonderfully. Easy to clean. Only concern is the rubber and it’s wear over time.

I have been using Cory glass rod filters since the beginning. Lately, I have started grinding my own coffee and it has some fairly fine powder (consistent particle size is why you pay a lot for a grinder or buy pre-grinded coffee). It clogged the glass rod filter pretty bad and caused an implosion (NOT explosion) on my fairly well used bottom pot (so scratches on the pot became stress concentration). This works probably because the fine powder got through the screen.

Its a good filter to be expected. however, the taste of the metallic metal filter mesh sorta ruins the taste of the coffee and some of the coffee grains were seeping into the finished brew. I would have given this a 4 star, but it would have been better if the silicone rubber is shouldn't have the grids when is inserted stopping the grains from entering the finished brew.

Prefect fit for Hario siphon, but not try it yet to brew coffee

I was waiting for this. I have two vacuum siphon coffee maker. I love them but the filter is the big time pain. You can use it for a while, but eventually you will need to replace the cloth. Replacing cloth is not fun. I wanted to have permanent filter and found this in Hario website. This works great. I can just wash it after use. That is all. Simple and easy.

Tengo un sifon de 3 tasas genérico y se ajusto perfectamente, pero debo decir que comparado con los filtros de tela éste deja algo de barro en el fondo, deja pasa los finos... aunque no es algo de preocuparse... el café sabe muy bien!

Filter broke while brewing second cup. Didn’t even last a day. Rubber and screen separated. Also, first cup came out muddy

同社 ステンレスドリッパーも利用していて 十数年前のサイフォンで、ここ最近また再利用しだしましだが 紙フィルターを利用のため… やはり、あのオイルが味わいたいと考えてこちらを購入 もちろん、細かく豆を挽くと粉も落ちますが ドリッパーでも同じ事なので気になりません。 美味しくない豆でも、いくらかマシになるのでw 分解し食洗機で洗浄、乾燥させて再利用させてます。

Hat den Filter für meinen Yama 5 cup! Passt! Man halt halt nicht mehr so eine klare Tasse wie beim Baumwollfilter, aber das ist ja klar!

Los sedimentos muy pequeños de café pasan a través de este. Los filtros de tela en mi opinión dan una extracción más limpia.

サイフォンのろ過器だが、大きなコーヒーがらは濾過してくれるが、メッシュで濾過しきれずに微細なコーヒー粉がしたに落ちる。気になる時もあるがメンテナンスがしやすいこともあって使ってはいる。
