The quality of this camera is awesome for both day and night. Great for seeing up a long driveway. I plan to order some of the 2 megapixels for closer views.

These cameras replaced the original equipment cameras that had the ocean air corrode the mounting brackets. It was a simple plug in for the power and video line. In addition, the cameras offer four simple video setting to match your base unit. The color and focus are excellent, and the night vision works well (black and white). Use Stainless steel mounting screws if you are in a wet (ocean or waterfront location). Use a waterproof electric box for your connections.

Night vision went out just after the return window closed. The only reason we bought this camera was for the claim of great visibility at night. The clarity was okay and the range was not what we expected. I will definitely by something else for sure.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I needed this camera because another camera was mulfunction, so I put this camera in it place very good night visiion

I had been using their dvr for 5 years with a set of samsum cameras no problem. Lately I decided to get their whole ststem, the not poe system, 5mp cameras. I was haven issues with then, they responded very quickly, I fix the issue. This cameras are very sensitive to anything too close to their infrared, so if a wall is too close to either side of then and the light reflect the infrared wont work at night. So just pointed away a bit no big deal

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Could only get the camera to display in the lowest display mode of 704x420. Tried using the menu to change display but still wouldn’t work. I know it’s not my DVR because I have 9 other cameras and several are HD.
