Works well.
I used these to install smaller speakers in a Sony surround sound set up. These mounts were perfect, I trust the lighter weight speakers on them, no problem. The different pieces were removable and adjustable, giving alot of options for distance from wall, mounting options, etc. They were a little hard to tighten once the speakers were in place (the hex key is tough to work in corners, behind speakers), but this can be solved by adjusting before attaching the speakers. These were the best priced mounts that I could find and I am satisfied with this purchase.

Excellent mounts, lot's of flexibilty, quality materials.
I was very impressed with these mounts. They aren't cheap plastic, but a solid nylon based plastic, much more sturdy. Lots of mounting options, extensions, and mounts. Would imagine they could mount to 90%+ of the different types of speakers our there. I used these to mount my Rear Back Surround speakers which actually mount behind the couch to the wall pointing directly up. No problems, there were quickly adjusted and mounted. All hardware included for all the different mounting options.

Very good speaker mounting option.
These mounts were very easy to install. They hold small bookshelf speakers. You can not mount anything larger than that or they will "sag" to face down. I gave an overall rating of 4 stars because: 1. + They did what they were advertised to do. 2. + You can aim the speaker where you want it to point. 3. + They are very easy to install. 4. + They have a good distance from the wall to allow you to make adjustments. 5. - After about a year they started to allow the speakers to "sag" down and adjusting the allen screws is difficult once mounted. I would still recommend this product but just keep in mind you may have to adjust the allen screws after a while to tighten them which may be difficult depending on where you mount them. I ordered it Apr 14, 2012. I tell this so that you know how long I have been using the product so you know it isn’t a review one day after receiving the product.

Keyhole mount requires a little mod for some speakers
I love these mounts, but don't be fooled by the description. The "out of the box" version of the keyhole mount adapter does not necessarily work with some speakers. I have the Onkyo 5500, and the speakers have a thin metal keyhole "bracket" screwed into the back of the speaker cabinet. This bracket protrudes only about 1/8" - 3/8" from the back of the cabinet. The adapter on the speaker mount is designed so that a machine screw is inserted into the keyhole with a nut behind it. The screw/nut assembly is inserted, then pushed upwards so that the nut is behind the narrow part of the keyhole. Then while putting pressure on the nut, the screw is tightened. As the screw is tightened, it starts protruding out of the nut (towards the speaker cabinet). Now, the manufacturer of the mount recognizes that some installations may need a "spacer" (when the keyhole is not deep enough for the screw), but it doesn't take in consideration a keyhole that is mounted on the "outside" of the cabinet in lieu of cut directly out of the back of the cabinet. So, there is not enough depth to allow a tight fit for the nut (when tightened, it simply starts boring a hole into the back of the cabinet). My solution was to CAREFULLY drill a hole the same diameter as the machine screw, just behind the narrow part of the keyhole so that the screw can extend it's full penetration for a tight fit. Works great now, but keep in mind, this may void your speaker warranty. Other than that, the bracket is very sturdy, and allows adjustments in all directions and tilts.

Great Mounts
Here is a link to a guy who describes how to use and how they work. It is one of the best videos that I have seen on You Tube. [...] There have been people who say that they move around alot. One person said that it keep dropping down. Well I have found that if you tighten the screws tight enough they say in place. The directions that come with these are ok. But if you are some what smart you can figure it out. They come with all the screws and tools that you need to put them up. I have mine hung up on my wall with Insignia speakers and they are holding them fine. If you are looking for some good wall mounts that don't cost an arm and an leg then these will work out great for you. Like I said watch the video with the link that I have adjust he really helps out alot on how they work and what you need to do.

Sturdy and configurable
These mounts are glass-embedded injection-molded plastic. If this doesn't mean anything to you, look it up. In a word, it means "sturdy" and unlike lesser plastic products the result is this material is very rigid. It's more difficult to manufacture but for this application it's very much worth it. At this price, it's also a good deal. I used this set to mount the speakers that come with the MartinLogan MLT-2 Home Theater System. The mounts are performing well and the speaker hasn't slipped from it's original position. I appreciated the extra hardware that was included and instead of one Allen wrench for the set, there's one per mount. Convenient if you're on a ladder and only have the parts bag with you. These are a good deal for what I expected of them and will be looking to them again should I need more in the future. Update Dec 2, 2015 One of the mounts is failing to hold a speaker at the angle in which I originally positioned it. I believe any other of these mounts would perform the same. The speaker in question is 3.8 lbs and was mounted horizontally and the arm bent ~45 degrees on the horizontal plane. This introduces torque to the arm and it rotated down ~90 degrees over time. Four lbs is a lot to ask of these mounts so I'm probably pushing it but that's my experience. If I had a place to mount my speakers and hang them without trying to support the weight off the wall they'd be just fine.

I am satisfied with this product. I don't know why others (based on the reviews that I read before buying) found it hard to install. I did the installation myself without any assistance, and my speakers weighed almost 10ibs. Had I known I would have bought the 6pcs set.

I was afraid that my choice will not serve the purpose, however, I was astonished at how nicely adjusted my BOSE Gem speakers and fits them perfectly for a ceiling mount in my basement.
