Glass Stone HR Hard Bond Grit 16,000*

This is a world class ceramic whetstone that I use for honing straight razors. I can't speak highly enough about this product and would recommend it 100%. The problem was with the packaging, or lack of it. One thin plastic courier bag. The stone was chipped so I returned it. Received a credit then a few weeks later was contacted by a guy in the States saying he'd recieved it in the packaging I'd returned it in and included all my personal information, which is how he contacted me. Very bad Amazon! You didn't even open the package knowing it contained a damaged item and just bounced it on, maybe hoping that customer wouldn't complain. Will have to think about supporting Amazon in future. Oh, I tried to complain but my emails just bounced back. So.. Shapton 10/10, Amazon 1/10 The 1 is for processing my credit promptly

丁寧に時間をかけて砥ぎ上げたところ、表面の光沢が目に見えて輝きを増しました。切れ味も申し分なく、普段カットテストに使用している厚紙がするすると滑るように切れました。 完璧な鏡面仕上げを目指す方は、事前の低い番目での研磨から十分な注意を払い、荒い砥石で深い傷を残さないようにするといいでしょう。 私は320番から順に、400番、1000番、8000番、12000番、そしてこの16000番で仕上げましたが、仕上がりの美しさ、切れ味共に文句なしの性能です。 この砥石の使用にあたっての注意ですが、ガラス面では砥げません。硝子はあくまで砥石本体の補強のためであって、ガラスの裏のセラミックかな…そっちが砥石です。 「硝子」砥石という商品名なのにご覧の有様ですので、裏表を間違えないようにしっかり砥いでくださいね。

Makes chisels crazy sharp

Esperaba algo más de una piedra de grit 16000. No la considero mala pero no está, en mi opinión, al nivel que se le supone. Como experiencia vale, pero no volvería a comprarla.
