De cilinder -ofschoon enkele mm te lang- gebruik ik in de buis van een metalen hek. De overbodige en dus kwetsbare lengte wordt gecompenseerd door de betere interne beveiliging van dit slot tegenover het kortere (defecte) origineel. De kortste zijde heb ik trouwens doelbewust aan de buitenkant gemonteerd vandaar ook mijn keuze voor dit 'niet-standaard' slot. Als het gedurende jaren de 4 jaargetijden doorstaat, zijn de 5 sterren meer dan terecht!

If you’re looking for a cylinder which can be opened from the outside when the key is left in the lock on the inside (requirement with many smart locks) then this will work for you. I’m not totally convinced about the security credentials of the cylinder but only needed it for an outbuilding so didn’t study this in fine detail but I’m sure it’s plenty good enough for most applications. My only negative comment would be to say that the keys feel slightly thin but this isn’t really an issue.

Personalmente ho avuto problemi perché la leva nera risulta essere poco lunga e non va sempre ad azionare il meccanismo che nel mio caso probabilmente é più largo del dovuto. Tecnicamente non ha alcun problema ed é perfettamente funzionante.
