Blazing Fast, Rock Solid, and Reliable – Perfect for Creative Work and Backup
I’ve been using the Crucial X10 Pro 2TB for a few weeks now and I’m seriously impressed. The advertised speeds (up to 2100MB/s read and 2000MB/s write) aren’t just marketing fluff—this drive flies. Large video files, RAW photo backups, and even full macOS Time Machine backups copy across in minutes, not hours.I’m using it with both a Mac Mini (M1) and a Windows laptop, and the USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 interface has worked flawlessly with both. It comes pre-formatted in exFAT, which is handy for cross-platform use, but I reformatted it for APFS on my Mac without any issues.Build quality is excellent. It’s compact, sturdy, and has a soft-touch rubberised finish that feels nice in the hand. I’ve taken it out on shoots and it’s held up well in bags, in pockets, and even in light rain—IP55 water and dust resistance gives real peace of mind.Pros:Extremely fast read/write speeds (real-world tests were close to spec)Compact and durable designWorks on both Mac and PCFeels premium and ruggedStays cool even with heavy file transfersCons:USB-C cable is a little short (as usual!)Pricier than basic SSDs, but you’re paying for top-tier performanceIf you’re a photographer, videographer, or just want a fast, trustworthy backup drive, the Crucial X10 Pro is a solid investment. Highly recommended.

Worst product and customer service ever
Stay well clear . It broke after about 2 weeks . Kept ejecting itself on a brand new m4 Mac mini. long story short I sent it back to crucial 6 weeks later still no return no refund .. they never contact me . I’m doing all the chasing . I’m out of pocket and no sssd .. absolutely fuming . my trusty Samsung t7 still going strong with out a glitch .. Amazon if u can do something please contact me . As I have nothing to show for the £280 I paid

Expensive but top quality
Bought it to pair with a cruciall SSD for use on an old mac. Other adapters wouldn't recognise the drive, this one works perfectly and has faster transfer rate with other drives.

Failed after 6 months - don't buy!
UPDATE:I contacted Crucial support and although the product is still under warranty, they don't offer refund because I bought it on Amazon from the Crucial Shop - this doesn't make any sense. When I go to my orders on Amazon, it links to Crucial Support, so it is the same company. I don't want to reformat or get a new product, as I've read many people were sent a replacement and that one failed too.I loved the small form, trully portable and very fast. However, just 6 months of very light use and the drive got corrupted. Fortunately, I was able to open it and retrieve the files and copy to another drive I had with me. Had I not had the other drive with me, I'd be in trouble.

Great for 4K video storage.
Just what I needed to download video files to whilst on my EU tour of the sunny bits. From micro SD to this 2Tb SSD fast & furious. Worth paying extra for the quicker read/write speed.Because they are expensive, I gave it 4*'s; other than that, it is great. And so bloody small, just hope I don't lose it.

Fast, Portable and Reliable
I've always bought SanDisk drives, and while there's nothing wrong with them I decided to try out this as at the time it worked out cheaper.Unfortunately I have not been able to use it on a macbook that can utilise its speeds, however i bought this with the forethought of purchasing my M4 Macbook Pro Max.Using this on my windows PC with a USB A 3 port has yielded great results. I edit off this drive when in Lightroom and DaVinci and there is no issues AT ALL!The drive doesn't get hot, and its so small you can carry it with you anywhere - smaller than the SanDisk drives.

Perfect 4TB storage drive
Brilliant for use with Mac automatic backups and can’t complain with the price / reliability / storage capacity / value for money. Super easy to use and the device is tiny too. 5 stars!

Great drives, tiny, well made and reliable.
Very good, well made, fast external SSD. Easy to use, tiny in size, has a USB C connection and a short cable included. The capacity is good but they are quite expensive. I would recommend these though as had no issues and have two now.
