It says: "ball 1440069046 craft supplies, quart, multicolor". are they "multicolor"-- or are they all amber?

I'm posting this because obviously Amazon doesn't want people to look closely at these jar's when they receive them and wouldn't post my review and photos about the embossed numbers, fruit and ball label on the jar's having little chip's in them. Which make it dangerous around food if the glass has little chips already it can chip off into food. So maybe people will see this and check their jars good. Blew my mind they wouldn't post my review.

Why are these jars double the price that every other store charges?

Because... Amazon? Target has these for $9.99, which is probably list price. You can also buy them direct from Jarden...

Are these safe to freeze too?

Yes, but allow contents to cool before placing in the freezer, and follow the Ball guidelines for freezing.

The amber jars are listed as "craft jars!" are the strong enough to be used as actual canning jars?

This seller lists them as "craft jars", but Jarden sells them as "canning" jars. They're cheaper direct from Jarden, too, for that matter, or pretty much anywhere else including Target...
