Final book of the series with perfect closure.
Book 8 from the Bridgerton series, and I must say that the story has finally come to an ending in the shape of the 8th marriage in the Bridgerton family. The fourth youngest son, Gregory, finally falls head over heels for the wrong girl, creates a sort of very loving love triangle, but after an abrupt twist and turn, goes in the right direction. Again, as I said earlier too, Ms Quinn has a way with words and she continues that magic in this one too as the book is seriously unputdownable till I reached the very last page to get the final wished ending :). With that, I have finished the series and have come to a realisation that she has written the 9th as an Epilogue, calling it “Happily Ever After”, and that I will be getting after a break of about 4-5 books for sure. This one didn’t work the way its earlier counterparts did, as there is hardly a mention of the much-loved Bridgerton family, nor any histrionics of my favourite Lady Danbury, but still, it made up for a breezy read as all her other books are.Do let me know which one is your favourite Bridgerton book and the favourite Bridgerton family member. I am in love with Eloise and Lady Danbury in equal measures.

It was actually a good book infact a great one, and I did enjoy it very much, butttt they should have been another chapter after the ending because the note on which the book ended felt unfinished. Even tho we know they got a happy ending, they definitely should have been a 26th chapter. But nonetheless, it's done, and it was very much enjoyable and a bit of a roller coaster also!!

...Not with a bang but a whimper
So, it was the last one. I was both looking forward to it and dreading saying goodbye to the Bridgertons. It wasn't bad as I had been afraid it might be, with high expectations and all. Great plot and romance and the meet-cutes, all in place. Gregory Bridgerton though is not as well-defined as his brothers and he's right in suspecting that he isn't as heroic as they are. But towards the end, just as he is coming up to mark, Lucy, the wonderful tenacious Lucy, says to Lord Haselby, who has been established as NOT being interested in women, and from whom she herself has just escaped most fortunately, 'But do you still wish for a wife? Because I could help you find one, once I'm settled that is.'A heroine I had rooted for and liked throughout the book suddenly changes and emerges as this cruel woman, who is happy to make another woman a victim of a loveless, sexless marriage. Why? It was a terrible betrayal. I wish it could be edited and got rid of, because it leaves such a bad taste in the mouth. The rest of the book pales in comparison to this huge let down. At least for me it did. Lucy Abernathy transformed in a space of minutes from heroine to antagonist. Not a way to remember the last Bridgerton book.

Cover of the book and inside of the book don't match
I had ordered this book as part of the whole Bridgerton series. Today I picked up to read this book, I found to my dismay that though the title says "On the way to the wedding", inside the book is"an offer from a gentleman".

So bad quality
Just received the book and it is in so bad quality, bindings are not good, pages are folded. Seems like it is a second hand book. So disappointed
