This product works well on natural 4c hair. I was reluctant to try it, but I'm glad I did. It works way better on my hair versus the Design Essential STS treatment. Also, it's a fraction of the cost they charge in a salon for this type of treatment which runs a couple of hundred dollars. It smells nice, didn't irritate, or burn my scalp at all. My silk press came out just as good as a salon visit. It even lasted through some sweaty gym session with a sweat band of course too. It puffed a little at the roots, but my hair did not revert back. Once it was dry I was able to wrap it with a scarf tied down to lay it back down and/or use the flat iron for a little smoothing. And best of all I can apply this in the comfort of my own home. I definitely will be using this product from now on as a staple for manageability of my hair. Glad I gave it a chance.

I have wavy, frizzy hair. The humid summer days have made it go curly and frizzy within minutes despite flat ironing every single morning. I got this to try. The instructions said to apply the best, wash out, THEN dry and flat iron. Luckily I read the reviews/Q&A while waiting. I combed the product through just slightly damp hair, let it sit for an hour, then used my volumizer dryer brush to dry, then flat ironed with the product in. Then, I washed it and went to bed with sopping wet hair (I normally never ever do this because it gets curly beyond fixing). I woke up to mostly straight, smooth, silky hair! I gave it a quick blow dry and it was 100% straight and stayed that way for 3 days despite high humidity! I just washed it again, still straight! Yes, it smells, but only when my hair is wet. Not at all when dry. I have about two uses left in the bottle so if one treatment lasts for a month, I’d say it’s worth it for me at about 30 bucks a month. I’ll update in a few weeks when I see how long it lasts.

This GK Keratin treatment did NOT deliver and cost extra money for emergency color correction (which will require multiple sessions to fully repair). My base color and highlights changed from ashy blonde to Brassy/orange. I followed all directions and want to emphasize that I have years of experience with multi-step keratin processes, including a Global Keratin product for in-salon application. But, In a side by side comparison we found the 'Best solution' is NOT the same name or formula used by my stylist. I also saw little difference in hair texture or humidity resistance making this a complete waste of money and time. Instead, try Color WOW extra strength for easy application, better results per wash and style, and no risk.

I have 3A to 3B curly hair. The product worked great and I applied it myself. The whole process took me around 3-hours, and I executed each step appropriately with breaks in between. “ So far, the product is great. I’ll monitor to see how things pan out over the next months and will update accordingly. I highly recommend it.

The keratin treatment works fabulous. I'm someone that has had numerous Brazilian blowouts but they changed the formula and it dried my hair so decided to give this a try. The clarifying shampoo works great and leaves hair squeaky clean without over drying hair. The keratin treatment leaves hair soft, shiny and frizz free. Saving so much by doing this myself. Beware the regular shampoo and conditioner smell super awful that's why i gave it a 4 star I wish i could return them but bought the set. I would recommend the ph shampoo and treatment only. The treatment itself smells fine to me. I was not bothered by the smell out all. Loved results. Will continue to purchase if the treatment lasts.

Very easy to use kit and absolutely love the results. Salon results, for sure, and no gross smell. I hope the results last.

Not what I expected. My daughter wanted straight hair, so we tried this. It was drying for sure. I have been adding leave in conditioner when I comb it every morning, but won’t flat iron again for quite a while. I think it is easier on her hair to use a relaxer. I won’t use this kit again.

I've been getting the Keratine treatment for about 1 1/2 now. The last treatment did not go so well. I had so much breakage and it did not last the 6 months as it had in the past. Getting this done at the salon is so expensive and my hairstylist was not very kind to my 4B type hair. 1. The instructions are easy to follow. 2. The kit included everything I needed, minus the hairdryer, brush, and flat iron. lolz 3. the kit has one glove - girl buy a pair. 4. My hair type is the course and thick so I semi-dry my hair before applying the treatment. Then waited 60 min and blow dry and flat iron my hair. I used too much product and my hair felt stiff. So I rinsed out 80% of the product and blow dry again and flat iron. Nore: do not apply to the scalp. follow the instructions and you'll be fine. 5. My kids said it looked better then the Salon version. In the future, I'll use have the treatment. Note: my hair is shoulder length.
