Do not buy
My middle school boy is using this. Broken in 3 months. We had another brand which came for 1 year at least. Very disappointed, do not buy.

Big, sturdy school bag with lots of room
Bought this rolling backpack for my 9-year-old son, and it’s exactly what he needed for school. The storage capacity is impressive – it easily fits all his books, lunch, and even his laptop when needed. The organization is great with the multiple compartments and side pockets. The straps feel sturdy and supportive when he chooses to carry it on his back, and the travelability of the wheels and handle makes it easy for him to roll when the bag is heavy. It’s a little on the weight side when fully packed, but overall, the protection and space it provides makes it worth it. A solid choice for kids who need a big, reliable bag.

Good, durable rolling backpack for the money.
This is a well made backpack. Lots of space and easy to adjust the height on the handle. Zippers pull easily and are good quality. The only downside is that the wheels are noisy since they are hard rubber. Don’t know how well they will hold up on the asphalt that I pull the bag over to and from my office but so far, so get.

Good product but lasted 2 years and I'm not a student.
Lasted 2 years and 2 months. I only use it from my car to the office and back- not a student who uses it all day. Good compartments in the front. Wish it could have lasted longer. Now one wheel is getting wobbly and crooked.

Handle malfunctioned in three months. Seller and manufacturer said it was customer's fault without even asking for any info.
I purchased the bag for my middle school daughter because she loved the pattern. Although I read the review on the handle problem, I still went ahead because I thought it might be an isolated case, and even if the problem did occur later, it would be covered under the manufacturer's three year warranty. I was wrong! In less than three months, the handle malfunctioned - it could not be pushed down. By all means, my daughter used it normally. She is a gentle girl and takes care of her things. The bag still looked very new, and there was no physical damage at all. I contacted the seller. Their reply was that manufacturer "stated if the handled worked properly initially, the handle housing must have been damaged by some sort of shock and causing the housing unit to be bent. This would not be covered under the warranty as, only manufacturer defectives would be covered". This was a very irresponsible statement made by the manufacturer and the seller. It is ridiculous that without asking for any information or looking at the bag, a conclusion was made that it was the customer's fault and not a manufacturer's defect. The seller said they could not help me and asked me to contact the manufacturer directly. I then looked up the manufacturer JWorld's webiste. There was NO phone number listed on the website, only email contacts. I have sent them two separate emails and to date still have not heard from them. While JWorld's bags do look pretty, quality is clearly an issue, and the manufacturer's warranty is a hoax. Update on January 9, 2013 - The manufacturer responded after two emails and the above post. They sent me instructions to take out the handle and said they would send me a replacement handle. I spent some time to take out the handle, wrote a reminder email to them and expected the new handle would come soon. Two weeks later, I still had not received anything nor did I hear from them again. I sent them an email again, inquiring about when they were going to ship the handle - no response from the maunfacturer. After a week, I sent another email - no response again. I'm going to write them an email again today.

Can pull everything I need behind me rather than carry it
This was an answer to a real problem I had. I used to carry around an insulated bag for water (and other drinks) to keep my drinks cold as I was out and about, as well as a purse. If I were attending a meeting, I might also carry a tote bag with papers, notebooks, reference books, or even a laptop computer in it, depending on what I was doing. All of these, I carried on my left shoulder. Then, I injured my shoulder pretty badly. I could no longer carry my insulated bag on my shoulder. And it was really weird trying to carry stuff in other ways. I kept trying to throw stuff on my shoulder and instantly regretting it. A lifetime habit is hard to break. So, I got this. You can pull it behind you, and it works great. It carries everything I need. Yes, it has a section that is semi-insulated. It's not quite as good as the actual insulated pouch I used to carry, but it does keep the drinks cold a lot longer than a regular bag. Meanwhile, it has other sections that can carry pretty much anything else I might want to carry. I can transfer the stuff from my purse if I want to, or I can still carry my purse separately. (I've done both ways.) And, as an extra bonus, unlike my old insulated bag, there is a netted area on each side to store a bottle or a cup that I'm actively drinking from, too, leaving the semi-insulated area free to keep the refills cold. The wheels are smooth. They can be a bit loud, depending on what surface you are pulling it along, but there's no harm in that. (You won't be sneaking up on anybody with this in tow, though - that's for sure.) In short, this bag makes my life a lot better.

Great Backpack; Light-weight, Lots of Compartments, Sturdy, Quiet Wheels, Fits Underneath Airline Seat
Was a little hesitant to purchase after reading some of the reviews about the handle breaking or it not being genuine J World, but this one had all the features I was looking for, so I took a chance. When it arrived, I looked it over, comparing it to the pictures to make sure it was indeed the same backpack I ordered (it is). Took it on a 2.5 week trip in late Jan / early Feb, where I used it to carry all kinds of extra stuff, wheeled it on all kinds of uneven surfaces and basically put all the zippers, compartments, handle and wheels through a pretty good workout. Everything still looks / works great; the only thing I noticed is a bit of side-to-side play in the handle when its fully extended. This may have been present when I first got it, but I didn't notice it until the end of the 2.5 week trip. This doesn't affect the performance of the handle at all, so I'm hoping it won't turn into an issue later on. The wheels roll smooth and are very quiet, the zippers seems sturdy and even fully packed, it fit easily underneath the seat in front of me on the plane (American Airlines). I really love the look of it and all of the many compartments, as I like to be organized when traveling. I especially like that smaller books, magazines or extra, flat items not immediately needed can be tucked behind the zippered covering of the handle guides at the back of the largest compartment, providing more space in the front side. The only thing that could be better quality is the lining material, as I'm concerned how it might wear over time.... but of course that would add to the overall weight, and having a light backpack was one of the most important things to me.
