How can I tell if an unopened can or bag of cat or dog food is still good?

The datecode on our plastic bags is located on the left gusset, near the 4 or 5-digit SKU number, toward the bottom of the bag. The datecode on our medium and large bags will be located on the top of the bag, generally the front flap.

How should I store my cat or dog’s dry food?

Bags of dry Science Diet, Healthy Advantage and Prescription Diet cat or dog food should be stored in a cool, dry environment under 100°F (38°C).

Good for dogs

Hills is the best for my baby!

5 STARS FOR THE FOOD - NO STARS FOR DELIVERY

It's expensive and requires a prescription. But it does help my dog's digestive issues. Plus, she likes the flavor. However, it's being shipped by USPS. Tracking indicated that it was out for delivery from the main post office in my city (about 9 miles away from my house.) I waited until "NO LATER THAN TIME" passed. No dog food, Checked the tracking and it stated "delayed in transit." This is only one of the delays in shipping by the US Postal Service that I have experienced in the last year. They can't seem to handle anything over 5 pounds. Amazon, why do you use them?
