It's definitely not real opal, but I gathered that based on the price and description. It looks like opal colored glass and its bigger than I thought it would be but it's very pretty and will make a beautiful necklace. Overall very satisfied for the price.

I ordered it for myself, probably going to order another for my daughter. I switched out chains on it as I wanted something longer than what it came with. Its beautiful however I'm not to thrilled with how see through it is. And when you hold it up to the light, all you see is yellow.

Got this for our Granddaughter as a healing and protection stone. She loves it and has not taken it off since she got it.

It's super pretty, it's clear but in the light you get a shin from it. When something dark is behind it then it has that real opal look to it.I put the necklace on my daughter and I went to take it off so she could play (just wanted her to try it on) and the clamp broke! Doesn't even stay latched now..I'll have to go and get a different necklace for it..

This item was awesome! The opal owl looks beautiful when being worn and almost looks like it is glowing. Also came very well packaged so it would not break.

I like the pendant a lot it’s very pretty but the chord broke at the clasp so I just wear it on a silver chain now.
