Why is the pressuer lower than the previous shower tower that was installed?

You can adjust the pressure using the valve hot/cold handle.. pulling it out for more pressure

At what height are the water connections? Center?

There are a pair of hot and cold water lines connected to the mixing valve on the back of the panel, the hose is flexible braided, so the water lines height is adjustable to connect to your water supply line in your wall.

Can this be installed in a corner?

I don't think so unless you invent a unique corner bracket/adapter.

how do you change the battery after installation?

You can lift up the shower panel and change the battery, or you can put the battry on the top shower panel for convenient exchange.
