Paper Mate InkJoy Gel Pens, Fine Point, Black, 10 Count

Excellent pens gel or otherwise. My review is for the black fine point (0.5 mm). This pen does not smear, has very dark ink, and is very comfortable to write with. The diameter is just right, not too slim or wide. The balance is even and good as well. The drag is moderate which is what I prefer. The action super smooth and there is no skips or blobs when you write. What I mean by drag, is that on standard notebook paper the pen has a little bit of resistance which helps with writing neatly. When pens have no drag I tend write a bit sloppier. The medium point just put too much ink down for me so I chose the fine point which is perfect. It lets me write small letters in my todo list and calendar, while it provides thick enough lines for standard notes and the very dark/black ink is easy to read. I am somewhat amazed at the low price for this pen. It is also refillable, but about $1 a pen I cannot image the refills are any cheaper. Also, the supplier provided the order fast and in a good packaging - greatly appreciated.

They feel amazing. They write amazing. The ink dries instantly so no matter how fast you write or if you're left handed, it doesn't smear. The pin point is sharp so you can write small and detailed notes. The price point is a good value and one pen lasts for a good amount of shifts before needing to be replaced. Only gripe is the clip is cheap and breaks easily but I keep my pen in a fitted pen pocket.

I love these pens! Amazon has a comparable price, but sometimes they go on sale for a great price! The pens are easy to hold and write so well! The ink is smooth and dries pretty quickly. It will smudge if you don't give it a sec to dry. Overall, I love these pens in black and the other fun colors.

These inkjoys are the only pen ive been using for the last 7 years now. I purchased them once, and have only purchased these exact pens, since. They are smooth, comfortable to hold. The material on the exterior is very cozy on your hands.

I view myself as a bit of a pen enthusiast and really enjoy a quality writing utensil. When it comes to daily drivers, G2 pens are the barometer of a great pen. However, these InkJoy pens are as good in terms of reliability, writability, and comfort as the G2 pens. Although G2 will forever hold a place in my heart, these InkJoy pens have quickly gained a place in my daily use, especially because they are aesthetically a little more pleasing being all matte black with a nice silver accent.

I like them. They are smooth and write very well on good-quality journal paper. On paper that is not as smooth, these skip and don't write well. You may want to keep this in mind when shopping for any gel pens. Gel pens require a smooth surface to produce consistent ink flow without the nib getting "caught" on the paper surface.
